"Got Apex?" hat den AMD Athlon 1200 in seinen beiden Versionen "B" (100 MHz DDR FSB) und "C" (133 MHz DDR FSB) gegeneinander antreten lassen. Das Ergebnis ist natürlich nicht sonderlich überraschend:
"In our testing, we were utterly amazed at the performance offered by combining an Athlon 1.2GHz 266FSB chip with an AMD 760 mainboard and PC2100 DDR SDRAM. Even more surprising was the low cost of such a set up. Sure the Palomino chip from AMD looks to be impressive, as do the 1.333 Athlon Thunderbirds, but if you keep waiting for the next big thing you may never have a rig. If you are in the market for an upgrade you can't beat an Athlon 1.2GHz whether it be the "B" or the "C", though we favor the "C".
