Im Idle-Betrieb macht der neue Phenom II X4 965 im C3-Stepping noch einmal eine bessere Figur als sein Vorgänger und unter Last bewegt man sich knapp unterhalb der genannten TDP von 125 Watt. Im Bereich der Performance schlägt man sich auf Niveau eines Intel Core 2 Quad 9650 - mal darüber, mal darunter. In der Leistungsaufnahme unter Last kann man dabei aber im Vergleich nicht punkten."
