Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Treiber 2.15.0003 für Windows Vista

Mit der Version 2.15.0003 hat Creative Labs ein neues offizielles X-Fi Treiberpaket für Windows Vista veröffentlicht. Nur nochmal für mich zum mitschreiben ...

Verstehe ich das richtig, die X-Fi kann unter Vista nachwievor werder DVD in DD/dts, noch EAX (ohne ALchemy) wiedergeben?

MIT ALchemy klappt dann ja EAX, oder?
Wie sind Eure Erfahrungen mit der Performance, bzw. wie gut klappt die Emulation?
Muss ALchemy für jedes neue Spiel geupdatet werden?
Kann mal jemand seine Erfahrungen beschreiben. Was muss getan werden, wenn ein neuen Spiel auf dem Markt kommt. Anpassungen/Konfiguration des ALchemy-Treibers?
Funktioniert mit ALchemy auch DD/dts bei DVD-Wiedergabe?

Meine Erfahrungen sind sehr gut nur zu Anfang gab es erhebliche Probleme mit den Betatreiber aber das ist jetzt Geschichte. Mit Emulatoren habe ich keine Erfahrung.

Nein ALchemy erkennt viele Spiele automatisch.

So wird wie bisher kein Dolby Digital oder DTS Decoding unterstützt. Auch DVD-Audio und der 6.1-Lautsprechermodus stehen bisher nicht zur Verfügung
