Die kostenlose Virtualisierungssoftware VirtualBox wurde in der neuen Version 3.0.10 veröffentlicht.
VirtualBox ist für Windows, Mac OS X, Linux und Solaris verfügbar. Zu den unterstützten Gastsystemen zählen neben Windows, Linux und Solaris auch OS/2, DOS und einige BSD-Derivate.

Die Version 3.0.10 wurde kurz nach der Veröffentlichung wieder zurückgezogen. Folgendes Statement wurde veröffentlicht:<blockquote><i>The 3.0.10 binaries that briefly appeared on the web site suffer from a last minute regression that breaks software virtualization (not VT-x nor AMD-V). We've removed all the files and are preparing a new build.
Please downgrade to 3.0.8 or wait till the end of the day for the new version.

Wollte mich gerade deshalb schon beschweren, aber gut, dass andere auch mitdenken und Informationen posten 
Habs grad unter Windows 7 installiert. Irgendwie speichert er mir die Einstellungen nicht. Hab den Standard-Pfad von .VirtualBox auf VirtualBox (also ohne Punkt) geändert und dann ne neue VM erstellt. Nach einem neustart ist das alles wieder weg... Hat das Problem sonst noch wer?
