Download AMD Catalyst Application Profiles 03.12.2010

<div class="newsfloatleft"><a href="http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/downloads.aspx"><img src="http://www.planet3dnow.de/photoplog/images/54308/1_AMD-Catalyst-Software.png" border="0" alt="AMD Catalyst Software"></a></div>AMD hat ein Update für die AMD Catalyst Application Profiles (CAP) veröffentlicht. Seit dem <a href="http://www.planet3dnow.de/cgi-bin/newspub/viewnews.cgi?id=1266436878" target="b">ATI Catalyst 10.2</a> hat AMD das ATI CrossFireX Application Profile aus dem eigentlichen Treiber herausgelöst, sodass Updates dieser Profile wesentlich schneller den Kunden zugänglich gemacht werden können. Mit den monatlich veröffentlichten AMD-Catalyst-Treiberpaketen werden wie bisher immer alle zum Zeitpunkt der Veröffentlichung aktuellen CAPs (Catalyst Application Profiles) ausgeliefert. In den sporadisch veröffentlichten Updates dieser Profile sind jeweils auch sämtliche vorangegangenen Änderungen enthalten. Um die installierten Profile auf dem aktuellsten Stand zu halten, müssen Besitzer von AMD-Radeon-Grafikkarten demnach lediglich das aktuellste CAP-Update installieren. Anfang Oktober hat AMD damit begonnen die vorgenommen Änderungen an den Profilen zentral zu dokumentieren. Im aktualisierten <b>"AMD Catalyst Application Profile"</b>, das zu allen Treibern ab dem AMD/ATI Catalyst 10.2 kompatibel ist, sollen folgende Verbesserungen enthalten sein:<ul><li>HomeFront - Improves CrossFire performance</li><li>DvaMira 2.0 (Russion version of Two World 2) - Improves CrossFire performance</li><li>Final Fantasy XIV - Forced on Anti-Aliasing through the Catalyst Control Center has been disabled</li><li>Track Mania Nations Forever - Forced on Anti-Aliasing through the Catalyst Control Center has been disabled</li></ul>
