Für die Radeon Karten aus dem Hause ATI ist ein neuer "Catalyst" der Version 4.6 erhältlich. Der eigentliche Treiber trägt die Versionsnummer 8.02. Ich denke nicht, dass sich da sehr viel tun wird. Eine 9800Pro z.B. wird man nicht mehr wirklich beschleunigen können, da ja die Treiber sowieso schon gut sind. Einige Anwendungen werden ein paar Frames mehr bekommen mit dem neuen Treiber und andere wieder ein paar Frames weniger, aber so wirklich etwas weltbewegendes wird da kaum dabei sein.

Dann kommt ja auch bald wieder ein neuer Omega Treiber *abwart*
Also hab mal mit 3dmark2001se gebencht,da hatte ich gegenüber dem 4.4er Treiber knapp 1000 Punkte weniger mit dem 4.6er.DTM2 zeigt immer noch keine Schatten bei den Wagen,naja ich mein NFS Underground läuft etwas flüssiger.
Werd mal nun mal mit 3Dmark03 benchen,mal schauen.Alles in allem bin ich nicht so überzeugt von der 4.6er Version.

BF Vietnam hat mit aktivierten AF keine Texturfehler mehr.

Habe mehrere D3D spiele getestet (KotoR, LockOn und UT2k4)
Der AF filter gibt überhaupt kein trilinares filtern mehr her... unterste kanone der treiber
Besonders gut ist das im cokpit in LockOn zu sehen.. alle texturen sind verwaschen und die sonst klaren linien mit den 4.5 sind mit dem 4.6 selbst bei 16*AF nicht hinzubekommen...

NFSU läuft doch nach einem Defrag eigendlich immer flüssig mit ner Radeon man muss halt nur die Light Trails aus machen dann kann man es auch bei 4AA und 8 AF auf 1280x1024 flüssig zocken.
Aber da sieht man mal wieder den Patriotismus der Amerikaner sprich EAs, auf ner Radeon läuft das Spiel einfach nicht mit allen Details, weil man ja zu NV steht.

Das ist totaler Quatsch. Ich hab selbst bei der Bildqualität AF getestet, und das AF hat sich im Vergleich zum 4.5er überhaupt nicht geändert. Unter Direct3D kriegt man wie bisher (ist ab dem Catalyst 3.2 so) bei Texture Stage 0 immer noch volles trilineares Filtering. Es muss bei Dir also an etwas anderem liegen.
