Abit hat für das NV7-133R Mainboard mit nVidia nForce420D Chipsatz und das AT7 Mainboard mit VIA KT333 Chipsatz neue BIOS-Versionen released. Die Compile-Daten liegen jeweils schon einige Zeit zurück, veröffentlicht wurden die Versionen allerdings gerade erst kürzlich. Folgende Fixes wurden implementiert:
Abit NV7-133R:
<ul><i>1. The performance of DDR 266 and above memory module improved after cleared CMOS data.
2. Support Athlon XP 2400+, 2600+ CPU. The function “CAS latency Override” setup to ”Auto”, post hang F8h.</i></ul>
Abit AT7:
<ul><i>1. Update HPT 374 BIOS from 1.1 to 1.22 to fix special boot sequence issue.
1.1 Use PS/2 keyboard and mouse simultaneously.
1.2 HDD attached to IDE 3 or 4.
1.3 CDROM attached to IDE2.
1.4 When above 3 description are true, booting up from Win 98SE floppy disk will fail to find some system files.
2. Fix system paused at C3 after cleared CMOS with Sumsung DDR K4H560838D Modul.</i></ul>
