DeltaChrome (AGP 8x) und GammaChrome (PCI-Express) sollten im großen und ganzen identisch sein (bis auf das Interface). Damit erledigt sich die Frage ja im Prinzip...

Some good questions.
It is an interest debate about how long vendors like our selves should continue to support AGP.
It really depends on the customers.
Feedback we recieved from board vendors and OEM's suggested that the switch to PCIe will occur quite quickly.
DeltaChrome series of products will be our last native AGP products.
GammaChrome series of products are our first native PCIe products.
What I mean by native is that chip supports these interface on die - without bridge chips etc.
The GammaChrome products do use the DeltaChrome as a foundation but there are many important feature enhancements and 3D pipeline improvements. For expect more performance per clock and per pipeline.
