Der zweite Dienstag im Februar rückt immer näher und vor kurzem hat Microsoft erste Details für den monatlichen Patchday, am 14.02.06 bekannt gegeben. Diesmal sollen laut <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/advance.mspx" target="b">Microsoft TechNet</a> ganze sieben Bulletins, zum Beheben von Sicherheitslücken erscheinen.
Vorraussichtlich wird auch dieses mal das Betriebssystem Windows XP die Hauptbaustelle darstellen, da dort zur Zeit 5 Bulletins ansetzen. Hierbei sind wiederum vier reine Windows Bulletins als <i>kritisch</i> und ein Windows/Office Bulletin als <i>wichtig</i> gekennzeichnet.
Desweiteren wurde noch ein <i>kritisches</i> Bulletin für den Windows Media Player und ein <i>wichtiges</i> Bulletin für Microsofts Office Paket angekündigt.</font>

Ich habe seit gestern das Problem, dass auf der Updateseite angeblich meine Updatesoftware registriert und nachinstalliert werden soll, da Komponenten davon fehlen sollen.
Wenn das passiert ist, kommt aber jedes mal wieder diese Meldung.
Kurz zuvor hat Adobe Reader 7 ein automatisches Update durchgeführt und meinen Autostart auch irgendwie verstellt. Könnte vll. etwas damit zu tun haben.

Da ich sowieso nach 4 Jahren mein Windows mal neu machen wollte, habe ich das zum Anlass genommen, mal eine komplette Neuinstallation zu machen. Völlig ohne Sicherheitsupdates hab ich auch ein mulmiges Gefühl.
Nach 3 Festplattenwechseln und dem 4. MoBo wurde es ohne hin Zeit.
Trotzdem würde mich interessieren, wie man dieses Problem beseitigen kann.

Nach etwas Suchen und einigen Aktionen und manuellen Installationen funktioniert es jetzt wieder:

ich weiss zwar nicht genau was es gewesen ist (hab soviel rumprobiert) aber den Windows Installer hab ich in Verdacht gehabt
