ATI hat sein CATALYST Treiberpaket in der Version 5.13 zum Download freigegeben und damit wie vor kurzem angekündigt, ein Treiberpaket ausserhalb der normalen monatlichen Releases zur Verfügung gestellt.

H.264 is advanced video coding that provides significant reduction in bit-rate compared to standards such as MPEG-2 and MPEG-4. The ATI Radeon® X1800, X1600, and X1300 products provide hardware acceleration for the playback of high-definition content that is encoded using H.264. Using the Catalyst® software suite 5.13, along with the Cyberlink H.264 decoder available from http://www.ati.com/technology/h264.html provides H.264 hardware acceleration.</font>

The Catalyst® 5.13 software suite is the first Catalyst® to provide ATI CrossFire™ support. CrossFire™ support is available when an ATI Radeon® X1800 CrossFire™ Edition product is installed with another Radeon® X1800 product. Sollte es nicht eigentlich auch schon funktionieren, wenn man den Treiber über den Geräte-Manager einrichtet und sich aus einem "alten" Paket das Control Panel ínstalliert?!

Ich hatte jedenfalls damals mit meinen 2. Sapphire 9800 Pro noch keine Probleme mit diversen ASUS Brettern, auch auf einem Asrock K7S41 lief sie ohne Probleme.

Hmm, steht irgendwo, dass der dritte Verbesserung (HQV Video Benchmark Support) nur für die neuen Karten gilt? Vielleicht hat ATI ja wirklich am Algo geschraubt, so dass die DVD-Quali nun mit der von nVidia oder XGI mithalten kann. (Falls es wirklich nur an den Treibern liegt.)

Hallo, habe den "alten" 5.10 installiert und anscließend den 5.12 ohne CCC so drüber instaliert. Nur beim Setup aug benutzerdefiniert und dann den Haken bei CCC raus.

Hatt den jemmand schon auf eine ATI Radeon X850 XT installiert,bringt es irgentwas mehr sonst las ich den 5.12 drauf mitdem alles super läuft

du musst das netframework 1.1 installieren, mit 2.0 funktioniert das ccc nicht!
zum thema videoqualität/performance, ich nehm vorerst alles zurück und behaupte das gegenteil. im ccc ist ein neues menü "video" und da kann auch ich mit meiner verkrüppelten xpress200m die deinterlance-methode meiner wahl anwählen und n bisschen mit den farben spielen. ob nun aber auch wirklich die bildquali bei mir besser ausfällt als vorher, vermag ich nicht wirklich zu sagen. hoffentlich widmet sich firingsquad dem thema bald (aktuell haben sie die neuen treiber nur mit der x1800 getestet im bezug auf videoqualität).

warum mach ich mir dann die arbeit und such mir überall die neusten versionen zusammen?

Bei mir funktioniert das CCC und ich habe auch NUR die .NET 2.0 drauf.
Das einzige was ich machen muss ist die Skin auf "System-Default" setzen
Siehe dazu im installations-pfad des CCC in der Datei ccc.reg ...
Dort einfach "SkinName"=""
Dann ccc.bat ausführen
Hatte ich beim CCC des 5.12 auch schon...

kann ich nicht bestätigen. hat sich nach meinen subjekiven empfinden nicht geändert.
es sei denn, man ruft das ccc zweimal hintereinander auf. dann liegt er im cache.
