Ok. Deine Argumentation ist schlüssig.

Warten wir auf neue Versionen von NOD, die bestimmt dort nachbessern werden.
Und falls nicht, muss eben der "Kasper" beim gelegentlichen OnDemand herhalten

Advanced heuristic habe ich nicht aktiviert. Kostet Scanleistung und führt zu Fehlalarmen. Ich persönlich finde den Scanner auch mit den Standardeinstellungen sicher genug.

Hallo

Warum ist das Mist ?

In einem vernünftig eingerichtetes Netzwerk hat jeder Client eine Locale IP (zb. 192.168.0.2)
Und das Personalfirewallmodul arbeitet eben nur auf so einem konfiguriertem PC.
Das ist also weder verwerflich noch ungewöhnlich.

Und wer seinen Router als DHCP Server einrichtet, und DHCP-Dienst von Windows deaktiviert, eine lokale IP vergibt, hat keinerlei Probleme mit irgend welcher Paketfilter/Personal/Desktopfirewall-Software

Was sind denn die gängingen Archiv-Formate? Rar und Zip macht er auf jeden Fall.

Thank you for your ongoing support. As a direct result of the beta testing team efforts, BitDefender Internet Security v10 - BETA 2 has been released today. Below you can find the list of improvements, bug fixes and known issues.

Improvements:
- Memory usage dropped from around 60 MB to 15 MB in idle mode and to 35 MB when the system is in use.
- HTTP Scanning included.

Bug fixes:
- When both Parental Control and Privacy Control are enabled, web access is blocked. In order to restore internet access, the user must disable the Privacy Protection module.
- The BitDefender Firewall cannot be initialized on systems with DHCP configured network adapters.
- Rarely, due to the Firewall module, ICS (Internet Connection Sharing)does not work.
- Contextual scan does not work.

Known issues:
- Stealth mode is currently not available.
- Rarely, on Windows 2000, ICS (internet Connection Sharing) might not work properly due to the BitDefender Firewall module.
- The Block Traffic from the General tab button does not work.
- The Default List from the Parental Control module does not work.
- The Firewall actions from sys tray do not work.
- Load/Save Settings from General > Settings do not work.
- Adding/moving or copying files to quarantine from the on-demand scan windows do not work.
- The Anti-rootkit module is not available yet.

for Info, BitDefender Internet Security v10 - BETA 3 has been released today

Improvements:
- Category based analysis has been added in the Parental Control module (based on heuristic filters, the category based analysis automatically classifying web pages based on content and other cues)
- When the user logs on a network for the first time since BitDefender has been installed, the BitDefender Firewall detects it and launches the BitDefender Firewall Wizard. It allows the user to properly configure the BitDefender Firewall for that specific network. Each time the user logs on a known network, the predefined profile is automatically applied.
- The number of BitDefender processes has been reduced from 8 to 6.

Bug fixes:
- Contextual scan does not work.
- The Default List from the Parental Control module does not work.
- Moving or copying files to the quarantine folder does not work
- When more than 4 scanning tasks run in the same time, BitDefender On-demand Scanner crashes.
- The Web Control module failed to apply rules for URLs including http://.
- www.ebay.de failed to be displayed when HTTP Scanner was enabled.
- After an update process was performed, the update progress bar remained at 100% of the total status.
- Rarely, the antispyware module was disabled due to inconsistent behavior of the product.

Known issues:
- Stealth mode is currently not available.
- Rarely, ICS (internet Connection Sharing) might not work properly due to the BitDefender Firewall module (We recommend to disable and re-enable the firewall)
- The Block Traffic from the General tab button does not work
- The Firewall actions from sys tray do not work
- Load/Save Settings from General>Settings do not work
- The Anti-rootkit module is not available yet.
- If “category-based analysis” is disabled, the “Use the list of blocked sites provided by BitDefender” option from Web control does not work

Today we have released the first beta version of the BitDefender Antirootkit tool (codename RootkitUncover). It can be downloaded from this location: BitDefender Antirootkit.

BitDefender Antirootkit comes as a separate tool and can be run on Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 (including systems with BitDefender Internet Security v10 installed). Use your BitDefender beta tester account to submit feature requests and bug reports (in the Submit Bug section, choose from “Bug found in” drop down list, the value “BD Antirootkit – beta 1”).

Please note that your bug reports will be acted upon only in the sense that the bugs will be confirmed, fixed and marked as such in the next release, although you may be asked for additional information.

Ich nutze bisher immer noch NAV 2002, ist dann immer 1 Jahr gültig. Und es wird darauf immer auf die neuste Version geupdatet, per LiveUpdate. Hatte bisher aber andere bis auf AVFree Edition nicht getestet, und das sagte mir nicht zu.
