AMD auf der Suche nach Absatz und oder Umsatz. Preissenkungen sind normal im CPU Bereich. diese fallen doch recht ordentlich aus. Vielleicht hat auch der Verlust von SUN als Abnehmer einer Rolle gespielt

Wieso sind Pipins Preise bei den SC-Opterons anders als die der AMD-Seite? Der Opteron 154 zum Beispiel kostet auf der P3D-Tabelle 377 $ und auf der Seite von AMD 265 $.

Sind bei AMDs Preisen vielleicht die Mengenrabatte mit eingerechnet?

Da hat der LI wohl was falsch verdrahtet (neudeutsch auch "Copy&Paste-Fehler"), die Preise der 100er SingleCores in der kleinen Tabelle sind fälschlicherweise die von der 200er Serie darunter.

Edit: Fehler ausgebessert und die Dual-Core 1xx ergaenzt.

Und der gegenschlag folgte sogleich. Laut Digitimes fallen die Xeon Preise um 40% der Spitzen- und bis 10 % der kleinen Modelle. Aber erst ab April ....
