Okay, Six-Core im Juni, nicht schlecht Herr Specht!

Istanbul im Mai ist gut.
Neue Mobilplattform mit kleineren Abmessungen und besserer Laufzeit hört sich auch gut an. Aber die sollen mal endlich was zeigen.
Vorallem Congo mit 2 CPU Kernen und vernünftiger Grafik dürfte wichtig werden, um gegen Intel anzutreten, Yukon ist ja irgendwie weder Fisch noch Fleisch. Hoffentlich entscheidet man sich gleich für 45nm Prozzis für Congo.

Das ist positiv zu bewerten.
AMD hätte aber durchaus schon jetzt etwas mehr zum Istanbul sagen können.
Auch unter D. Meyer der alte & zähe Infofluß. Man muss sowas ja auch intensiv vermarkten und nicht einfach in Preislisten einstellen und auf Käufer warten.

Lt der 5 Monate alten Auflistung.
AMD landet da per K8 (ggf. Griffin reloaded) irgendwo bei run 2* 1,5 GHz max. und wettbewerbsfähiger Grafik vs. Intel.
Im Prinzip dürfte Yokun weniger Performance bei geringeren Preis aber ähnlicher Akkubelastung wie der 45nm Refresh beim Mainstream bringen.
Alles recht wir und nur Vergleich Intel Atom 280 und stromgierigen GN40 mit einem Hauch an Chance (die Plattform hat 16,5 Watt ges.) - eher jenseits der 10''.
