ATI hat sein CATALYST Treiberpaket in der Version 5.12 freigegeben. Voraussetzung für das CATALYST Control Center (CCC*) ist ein installiertes Microsoft .NET Framework. Eine aktuelle Version des .NET Framework kann man über die <a href="http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6"target="b">Microsoft Windows Update</a> Seite beziehen.

Bisher bietet ATI den CATALYST 5.12 nur mit dem CATALYST Control Center (CCC*) an. Im <a href="http://www.planet3dnow.de/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=2510294&postcount=27">Kommentar-Thread</a> wurde nun auf einen Link hingewiesen, der zu einer Version des CATALYST 5.12 auf ATIs Download-Seite führt, die das normale Control Panel enthält. Im Gegensatz zum CCC benötigt das Control Panel kein .NET Framework. Es sei darauf hingewiesen, dass es sich dabei um keine offiziell von ATI veröffentlichte Version handelt.

ich hab die mobililty treiber hinzugefügt, ebenso wie die release notes.

Das... und außerdem: WO bleibt die Version ohne den CCC-Kram?!? ATI wird doch nich etwa...

im moment steht ausschließlich die version mit dem ccc zum download bereit. ob ati die variante mit dem normalen control panel nachreichen wird ? k.a. *noahnung*

Das will ich ja wohl hoffen, das .Net Zeug kommt mir nicht auf den Rechner und den ganzen unnötigen Mist des CCCs will ich auch nicht haben.

Falls Du Windows XP drauf hast, hast Du sowieso das .NET Framework 1.1 drauf. ;) Und dagegen an sich ist ja auch nix zu sagen, ist ja erstmal nur ne Programmierumgebung, vergleichbar mit der JavaRE.

Aber ich hätte auch lieber den Treiber alleine, komplett ohne alles, würde lieber nur das AtiTrayTool nehmen.

wer sagt das? soviel ich weiss, war .NET immer separat installierbar bzw. downloadbar.... :]
 
Wenn die neuen wirklich soviel schneller sind wie oben beschrieben dann kann ich auch mit dem CCC leben, ist bei leibe nicht mehr so lahm wie die mal früher waren!

(mir wären die normalen zwar auch lieber, aber wenn HL2 und FarCry soviel schneller werden..schexxx drauf!)

warte btw lieber auf den omega treiber (nicht weil ich die jetzt soviel besser finden würde, aber da ich die jetzt schonmal drauf habe will ich nicht wieder auf den standard zurück da ich sonst omega deinstallieren müsste ist mir alles zu aufwendig)
 
ich hab mal die links zum 2.0 .net framework rausgenommen.

ati spricht ausschließlich von der version 1.1. am besten lädt man sich bei bedarf das passende paket über das windows update center herunter.

auf der Download-Seite von ATI kann man den Treiber IMHO auch ohne CCC runterladen. Man braucht nur ein wenig runterzuscrollen und findet da getrennt zum Download die einzelnen Teile "Bildschirmtreiber", "CCC" und "WDM integrierter Treiber".

das stand-alone treiberpaket hat dann aber weder das ccc noch das alte control panel.

edit : keine ahnung, ob das fehlerfrei funktioniert, aber wer sich eine inoffizielle lösung basteln mag. ich hab an anderer stelle gelesen, daß einige das 5.12 stand-alone treiber-paket mit dem 5.11 control panel kombiniert haben.

Nein, ist es nicht, auch nicht mit SP2

Den anderen DL habe ich gesehen, aber da ist auch nicht das CP dabei :(
Na mal kucken, wird hoffentlich noch kommen. Ist für mich vermutlich eh nicht so relevant da sic hfür meine 9700 eh nichts groß mehr ändern wird, außer Spielekompatibilität.

Ja, Windows XP (egal welche Version) hat von Haus aus kein .Net 1.x oder .Net 2.x.
 
Ich warte erstmal ab.
Ich finde das CCC gnadenlos überladen.
Es frißt extrem viel Speicher und es braucht zum Teil Ewigkeiten bis es startet. No thx!

Warum regt ihr euch alle über das CCC so auf? Wenn ihr das Ding nicht wollt, dann haut nur den Treiber drauf und macht alle Einstellungen mit den ATI Tray Tools. So mach ich das auch und das ist viel besser als CCC oder CP.

sind die ati tray tools denn immer fuer die aktuellen Treiber angepasst?

da kann ich am ende auch den CP vom 5.11 nehmen, wenn ich ne alte traytools version nutze. ?!

Afaik scho... - und eigentlich würde ja auch der Treiber alleine reichen, Einstellungen macht man eh am besten in dem jeweiligen Game.

die aktuelle version stammt auf dem oktober. das sollte deine frage beantworten ;)

Ich habe den 5.12 Treiber mit dem guten alten Control Panel als RAR auf meinen Space geuppt.
