Skype Technologies hat eine weitere Beta-Version seines VoIP-Clients Skype 2.0 veröffentlicht.
Zentrale Neuerung gegenüber früheren 1.x Versionen ist eine nunmehr in die Skype-Software integrierte Möglichkeit zur Videokommunikation. Bisher war dies nur mit dem 3rd-Party Plugin <a href="http://www.festooninc.com" target="b">Festoon</a> (vormals vSkype) möglich.
