ATI hat sein CATALYST Grafikkarten-Treiberpaket in der Version 6.10 zum Download freigegeben. Voraussetzung für das CATALYST Control Center (CCC*) ist ein installiertes Microsoft .NET Framework. Eine aktuelle Version des .NET Framework kann man über die Microsoft <a href="http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6"target="b">Windows Update</a> Seite beziehen. Schließt die Version 2.0 des .net Systembremse die v1.1 nun mit ein, oder müssen beide Bibliotheken installiert werden?

Nun hab ich mich mal im Downloadbereich vom MS umgesehen, da fallen mir gleich zwei unterschiedliche Downloads für 32-bit in die Hände:

Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Redistributable und außerdem
Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 2.0 Redistributable

Was ist hier der Unterschied? Verwirrung pur !!! ???

allerdings kann man laut den release notes das framework 1.1 ODER 2.0 installieren. man braucht also nicht mehr nur das 1.1 als voraussetzung.


Dann muss das CCC aber für beide Versionen geschrieben worden sein. AFAIK ist .net 2.0 nicht abwärtskompatibel zur .net 1.1
 
@pik11: Doch, prinzipiell ist es das. Es kommt AFAIK darauf an wie die Programmierer ihre Anwendungen kompilieren. Man kann da beim Kompilieren wohl angeben, dass die Anwendung auch mit .net 1.1 lauffähig ist.

Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 2.0 Redistributable

Was ist hier der Unterschied? Verwirrung pur !!! ???
Das Compact Framework ist für Windows CE, also für portable Geräte wie Handhelds, PDAs, Handys usw.

es ist einfach beschämend wie ati mit den linuxusern umgeht, die performance is unter aller sau ....
