Achtung GPU Falter@8800 und GPU2 (V6.20) Client

Ich bin gerade bei Stanford etwas am stöbern und mir ist da das aufgefallen ... was Faltern mit 2 8800 nVidias auftreten kann ... Junior hast du nicht sowas in Betrieb ?

ppd drop with 6.20 GPU client 'upgrade'

I've just had to upgrade to 6.20 due to the expiry of the 6.12beta and suddenly the ppd on my two 8800GT's has dropped form around 4800 for each GPU down to around 2400.

I uninstalled the old client and deleted all files prior to installing 6.20 and then copying over to a second directory .

Is there some switch or extra parameters I should have added to the config?Proudly

Yes. Add "-forcegpu nvidia_g80" without the quotes to the shortcut for gpu 1 and you should find that it works at the old, higher, speed.

EDIT to EDIT above: this problem used to be vista only but is now being seen on both XP and Vista, so I don't think it can be classed as a Vista-only quirk any longer.

Also obacht nach Clientwechsel die ppd´s mit dem Fahmon genauer im Auge behalten ... auch gibt es noch 2 weitere neue flags die gesetzt werden können ...
