ATI hat sein CATALYST Grafikkarten- und Chipsatz-Treiberpaket in der Version 8.12 zum Download freigegeben. Voraussetzung für das CATALYST Control Center (CCC*) ist unter Windows XP ein installiertes Microsoft .NET Framework. Eine aktuelle Version des .NET Framework kann man über die Microsoft Windows Update Seite beziehen.

Ist bei mir auch nicht bei. Habe extra in der Basic-View gestartet so wie es empfohlen wird, aber der AVIVO Converter ist nicht da, nur Display-Settings.

Das Treiberpack 8.12 das ich mir von der AMD Seite runtergeladen habe, ist 36,4 MB groß. Gibts da noch nen anderes Pack mit Konverter?

BTW: Windows XP wird doch unterstützt vom Konverter, oder?
Einfach Doppelklick auf das Taskleisten-Symbol vom CCC. Dann Basic anwählen. Anschließend kannst du den Konverter einstellen.
Es gab einige widersprüchliche Äußerungen über die Unterstützung der 3xxx und darum wollte ich es einfach testen.

Zumindest die Versionsnummer des Display-Drivers ist mit der des RC3 identisch.

Hab wegen einer Anfrage in einem anderen Thread mal den Catalyst 8.12 WinXP 32 für Mobility-Radeons hochgeladen - wenn sich jemand die Arbeit des Modifizierens mit dem Mobility Modder nicht machen will: Catalyst 8.12 / WinXP 32 / für Mobility Radeon
Zuletzt bearbeitet:
Avivo ist auch die gleiche Version. Außerdem das gleiche minimale Ausnutzen des GPU bei Avivo. Den Rest (normaler Grafiktreiber) habe ich noch nicht großartig getestet.

Am Ende des Webcasts gerade haben sie die Frage nach der CPU / GPU Auslastung zugelassen.
Dürre Antwort:
Man könne ja ohne Sys & Video/codec Infos nichts sagen, aber das Programm ist definitiv keine GPU only Applikation ...
Naja wussten wir auch schon ..

Sacht mal wenn ich die Packete einzeln runterlade (Catalyst und Treiber) weil ich den Catalyst in Deutsch will, is der Catalyst dann in 32 bit und im vollpacket ist er 64 bit oder raff ich das net ?

Danke Klasse, es war doch vorher Bekannt gemacht worden dass es nur auf 4xxx erstmal Laufen soll und nicht darunter die kommen aber noch.
Morgen werde ich es Antesten heute keine Zeit mehr, da ich sehr viel XviD encode wird es sicher eine gute Hilfe sein.

Hallo zusammen,
habe gerade den neuen Treiber installiert und bei mir ist nun alles sehr grünstichig. Außerdem sind alle Farben nur noch blas zu erkennen.
Der alte 8.11 wurde sauber mit dem Uninstaller gelöscht. Weiterhin habe ich auch alle Einstellungen im Catalyst Control Center zurückgesetzt.
Tja, leider keine Besserung.

Also bei mir funzt der Video Konverter ja mal gar nicht. Ich kann den Schieberegler von links nach rechts ziehen und die Größe des Output Files wechselt immer nach 500 MB wieder zu wenigen kb obwohl die Bitrate immer größer wird. über den Balken verteilt so 3-4 mal das selbe Spiel und es kommt nur Müll nach dem sehr schnellen konvertieren raus. Sehr seltsam.
