the initial release will support computers that run Microsoft Windows, that have a compatible NVIDIA GPU, and are using a recent CUDA 2.0 (or later) driver. Releases for MacOS X and Linux are planned in the near future.

habs jetzt nicht genau beobachtet, aber meine paar test-wus's brauchten so 20 - 30 minuten auf ner standard 8800gt ( pozzi q9550 )

Warum bist du so langsam
die 14,7er brauchen auf meiner GTX260 zwischen 57 und 59sec
und das bei Standardtakt.insgesamt 39WU gerechnet zwischen 17,5 und 124sec - Mittelwert aus allen 57,3sec
@all: Kann man irgendwo einstellen, dass Seti nur GPU-WUs verschicken soll? Ich hätte da noch ein Notebook mit ner NV 140M rumstehen (die sollte CUDA fähig sein, da GPUGRID da schon mal lief - wenn auch jenseits von gut und böse) und würde gern mal testen wie lange eine WU da benötigen würde. Leider schickt mir Seti nur die CPU-App rüber.

No. If BOINC determines your CPU is capable of running the CUDA version, only the CUDA version of SETI@home will run. One copy will run on each GPU you have installed. If you want to keep your CPUs occupied at the same time, you can join another BOINC project.

es gibt ja noch reichlich Probs mit dem CUDA Support, bei mir läuft es ja auch nicht

ähm ich glaub ich bin hier völlig am thema vorbei, ich war bei seti@home beta
beim regulären seti@home hab ich noch keine cuda-wu gehabt ...
( zur zeit bekomm ich überhaupt keine wu's )

zieht sich der BM die SETI-CUDA WUs automatisch
oder sind besondere einstellungen nötig

Follow the instructions here. If you have are running BOINC version 6.4.4 or later, and have the correct NVIDIA driver installed, the CUDA version of SETI@home will be downloaded automatically
normalerweise sollte er sich die CUDA WUs automatisch ziehen.

1) This package (Raistmer's_opt_package.rar) can be downloaded from http://files.mail.ru/CIXVXO .

Targed hosts: Windows x86, SSE3 support for AP, CUDA support for MB.
2) It consist of modified SETI MB CUDA and current SSE3 opt SETI AP binaries with corresponding app_info.xml file
3) Modification that I have done increases CUDA worker thread priority in SETI MB CUDA that allows more fully GPU usage while keeping all CPU cores busy too. That is, using of this build can increase total performance of your host for BOINC tasks.
4) MB binaries based on CUDA MB sources recived from Eric (with small modification), opt AP is just repacking of current Lunatics opt AP release (SSE3 build).
5) It's not "official" Lunatics release so you could blame only me (or yourself, or BOINC bugs and so on and so forth) for any issues you encounter.
6) I still can' check AP+MB work (no AP tasks here) but it works just fine with CUDA MB + einstein@home combination.
7) For best CPU and GPU usage I recommend to set number of processors available for BOINC to real_number_of_cores+1. This will mitigate current BOINC bug with CPU+CUDA scheduling and will allow fully load CPU and GPU.
8) Installation instructions are the same as for any opt app: stop BOINC, decompress all files in archive into SETI project directory, restart BOINC.

Jep, hab ich auch laufend!
Sind aber immer die, die etwas "länger" laufen würden und dann bei ca. 26-28% abbrechen und als Teil der WU-Bezeichnung ein *ae.* enthalten!
(Z.B. - 03dc08ae.4248.4571.6.8.243)Die mit *ab.* laufen bei mir durch...8)
Jo, kommt in letzter Zeit leider sehr oft vor dass die CUDA-WUs wohl aus gehen...
So und jetzt wünsch ich allen hier im Forum ein schönen Weihnachtsfest!

gibt es die Möglichkeit auch CUDA 1.0 kompatible Nvidia Karten unter Seti Enhanced laufen zu lassen. Verfahren wie immer, BM beenden, Files in den Projektordner kopieren, BM starten. Die alten Files (6.03 + 6.05 *.exe) löschen, so lief es jedenfalls bei mir. Bin mal gespannt wie lange eine WU läuft und was sie an CR bringt.
