Download ATI CATALYST 10.4 AGP Hotfix

Wie üblich kurz nach der Vorstellung eines neuen offiziellen Grafiktreibers von ATI ist auch dieses Mal wieder ein sogenannter AGP Hotfix Treiber (Article number 31625) erschienen:<blockquote><i>A "No compatible hardware found" error message appears when attempting to install the ATI Catalyst™ drivers directly from the AMD download home page for the:<blockquote> * ATI Radeon™ HD 4xxx series of AGP graphics cards

Für Windows XP ist wie üblich das <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=AB99342F-5D1A-413D-8319-81DA479AB0D7&displaylang=de" target="_blank">Microsoft .NET Framework</A> erforderlich, falls zusätzlich zum Treiber auch das CATALYST Control Center (CCC) installiert werden soll.

Hallo,

mir ist aufgefallen, dass dieser Hotfix bestimmte Karten gleich mal kräftig degradiert. Aus meiner Radeon HD3650 wurde irgend eine 2xxx Karte. Klar, ich weiß, dass das eher ein kosmetisches Problem ist, aber ich habe doch lieber eine korrekte Anzeige im Gerätemanager, deshalb nehme ich lieber den normalen Catalyst und editiere die INF-Datei entsprechend.

Das ist bei mir schon lange so. Glaube, das hatte der 9.10 schon gemacht.
