AMAX Releases New GPU Supercomputers with AMD FireStream GPU!

Fremont, CA— June 23, 2010. AMAX, the leading high performance computing provider in North America, today launches a new line of GPU workstations and servers powered by AMD’s cutting-edge FireStream GPU technology. Featuring 4 GB GDDR5 memory and a parallel processing architecture with 1,600 stream cores per GPU, AMAX’s new FireStream-based GPU Supercomputers are ideal for the most demanding compute-intensive data parallel tasks, including climate research, genetic research, engineering analysis, oil and gas exploration, and seismic processing.
