Das Hardware Monitoring Tool Core Temp ist kürzlich in der Version 0.99.7.3 erschienen.
Mit dem kleinen, kostenlosen Programm lassen sich - ähnlich wie mit <a href="http://www.planet3dnow.de/cgi-bin/newspub/viewnews.cgi?id=1273838397">HWMonitor</a> oder <a href="http://www.planet3dnow.de/cgi-bin/newspub/viewnews.cgi?id=1280076849">SpeedFan</a> - alle Kern-Temperaturen der verbauten CPU(s) auslesen und loggen. Außerdem zeigt das Programm die Minimal- und Maximaltemperatur einer Sitzung an. Um vor einem Hardware-Schaden zu schützen, gibt es eine <i>Overheat protection</i>, welche eine Meldung beim Erreichen der selbst festgelegten kritischen Temperatur ausgibt.
Core Temp läuft unter Windows ab Windows XP und ist einer 32Bit und einer 64Bit-Version verfügbar.
