Das Mobo arbeitet zusammen mit einem Barton 2500+ und 512 Mb-Noname-Ram mit schnellen Timings rockstable. Würd ich ohne Bedenken wieder kaufen.

Ich hab das Board nun schon seit Juli 2003.
Bevor ich das Teil nun in den (wohlverdienten) Ruhestand schicke geb ich ma hier mein Senf zu - evtl. hilfts ja nochma jemand, ansonsten der Vollständigkeit halber.
Am wichtigsten war mir damals das Dual-LAN Feature und nForce wollt ich nich (die damaligen Probleme eben). Der serienmäßige passive NB-Kühlkörper hat mir auch zugesagt. Außerdem noch Mounting Holes, sehr guter RAID-Chip und natürlich das geniale PC-Transpo-System (wie bei den anderen Lanparty-Boards).
Über so Geschichten wie Matrix-RAID & Co kann ich nur lachen - das kann dieser HPT RAID-Chip auch schon (Stichwort RAID 1.5). Da ich nich soo viel Datensicherheit brauche mach ich damit nur RAID 0. Und das rennt seit über 1 Jahr ohne Probs.
Zum Sound kann ich nix sagen, ich benutz da meine Audigy2.
Negativ ist natürlich das kein FSB200 läuft, aber das war ja bei dem Chipsatz klar. Obwohl es auch möglich ist mit den DIP-Switches FSB200 einzustellen
nur passiert dann nücht mehr viel beim Einschalten.
Außerdem noch etwas was das Board schon von Anfang an macht: Es initialisiert sich immer doppelt. Also so nach 3 Sekunden machts leise "klick" und die Laufwerke blinken ein 2. Mal. Seltsame Sache das.
Insgesamt bin ich aber sehr zufrieden mit dem Teil. Nur so langsam sollte mein 2500er auch mal nen FSB200 bekommen.
DFI hat das Board jedoch eher stiefmütterlich behandelt und nach dem Release kein neues BIOS mehr geliefert. Ob das bei anderen DFI's auch so ist? Jedenfalls macht die Firma 1A-Boards (wer nForce mag) und sie hättens verdient auf dem de-Markt stärker verbreitet zu sein.
Achja und einen Nachfolger (auf VIA-Basis) hats nich gegeben und es ist auch nichts in Sicht soweit. Schade eigentlich.

FSB333 Barton jaich wollte nur wissen ob dieses mainboard auch mit einem AMD Athlon Barton 3200+ funktioniert

Habe das Board übrigens noch immer in meinem Rechner.
Seit einiger Zeit aber mit einem auf 2366 MHz übertakteten XP-M 2800+ (Barton DTR).
Wirklich erstaunlich das Board! Hatte zwischenzeitlich ein KT600 (Epox 8KRAI), ein KT880 (Asus A7V880) und ein nForce2 400Gb (MSI K7N2 Delta2) getestet, aber keins erreichte diese Performance und Stabilität.
Werde ich wahrscheinlich echt vermissen, wenn ich denn mal aufrüsten sollte. Aber derzeit ist die Performance auch noch ganz gut auf der Höhe der Zeit. Wenn dann mal der Conroe auf dem Markt angekommen ist, wird es an der Zeit sein, einen neuen AMD / Intel Vergleich zu machen und das Board an seinen Platz in der goldenen Vitrine zur Ruhe zu betten
