@janus
du hast eine netgear netzwerkkarte, schau dir dazu mal das hier an. Betrifft zwar das kg7, aber beide boards ähneln sich ein bisschen. probier es doch mal ohne netzwerkkarte.

Kyle:
Leave it to a [H]ardOCPer to show us the error of our ways! If you read the ABIT KG7-Review you will notice in the conclusion where we talk about boot problems with the board. It seems that our Netgear NIC cards are the culprit. Did we change out our configuration when trying get our board problem free? Yes, we did, but we changed out a FA311 for a FA312 and both cards have the same problem. We removed our NIC and drivers through the control panel option in Win2K and the system booted just fine coming out of Windows and the BIOS settings. This problem does not seem to be isolated to the ABIT KG7 but rather to the AMD 761 chipset. Hopefully we can find more information on this. Here is a thread over at AMDMB that touches on this issue.
Our test boards were not without problem, though. This review is a week late and with good reason. The first pre-production KG7 we received would not boot properly and took many tries at powering up the board to even get the BIOS adjustments to take. We got in touch with ABIT about this a couple weeks ago and started working through it together. The second KG7 they sent us, the one used for all these benchmark numbers, also had a boot problem, but it was not near as severe as the first. It too would not reboot itself after exiting Win2K. This about doubled the time needed to get the data for the review. We have worked with ABIT on this for a week now and they have not been able to reproduce our problem in their labs. At this point I do not know whether the fault lies with the board, our equipment, or our testing know-how. We are going to return both boards to ABIT for further testing at their facilities in Taiwan so they can make sure a problem is not being overlooked. I do not think this will be an issue with retail boards, but it is still a problem we encountered so we need to mention it to you.
