Neue Prozessorpreise und Opteron HE-Modelle bei AMD

Zum 24. Oktober hat AMD eine neue Preisliste veröffentlicht. Die Preise von Desktop- und Notebookprozessoren fallen dabei um bis zu 25 Prozent. Eine Reihe von Prozessoren wurde von der Preisliste gestrichen und zwei neue Opteron HE-Modelle wurden hinzugefügt. <b>Update:</b> Auf der Preisliste wurden nun auch die Preise für die Athlon 64 Desktop-Prozessoren um bis zu 20 Prozent gesenkt.

Während die FX-Modelle konstant im Preis bleiben, gibt es bei den Dual-Core X2 Prozessoren Abschläge von bis zu 15 Prozent. Das kleinste Modell, der Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 3800+ liegt nun bei 328 US-Dollar.

Beim Athlon 64 werden die Modelle 2800+ und 3000+ nicht mehr aufgeführt, ebenso wurden die Semprons für den Sockel A und die nicht 64-Bit Sockel 754 Modelle von der Preisliste entfernt. Hinzugekommen ist dafür der Sempron 3200+ (64-Bit).

Die aktuell in der Preisliste aufgeführten Spitzenmodelle Turion ML-40 und MT-40 wurden um über 25 Prozent im Preis gesenkt. Interessanterweise wurde der Turion 64 ML-42, der beim letzten Update der Preisliste mit 525 US-Dollar gelistet war (wir <a href="http://www.planet3dnow.de/cgi-bin/newspub/viewnews.cgi?category=1&id=1128274236">berichteten</a>), augenscheinlich aus dieser entfernt, doch ein Blick in den Quelltext der Webseite mit der Preisliste offenbart, dass dieser lediglich auskommentiert wurde

Bei den Notebook-Prozessoren wurden alle Athlon 64 DTR (Desktop Replacement) Modelle, sowie der Mobile AMD Athlon 64 2800+ gestrichen.

Bei den Server-Prozessoren sind die Dual-Core Opteron Modelle 270 HE und 870 HE hinzugekommen, die eine reduzierte Leistungsaufnahme von 55 Watt besitzen. Zu einem Preis von 1.299 bzw. 2.649 US-Dollar sollen diese ab Ende Oktober verfügbar sein.

Am 31. Oktober sollen die Preise für den Opteron 144 bis Opteron 150 für den Sockel 939 geändert werden.

Opteron HE gelangten in der Vergangenheit allem Anschein nach leider nicht in die europaeischen Retail Channels. Lediglich einzelne US Versender listeten Opteron HE zu schwer nachvollziehbaren Preisen und konnten bei Bestellung nicht liefern.

AMD sollte entweder die Nachfrage der Retail Kundschaft bedienen oder anmerken, dass Opteron HE ausschliesslich fuer Grossabnehmer bestimmt sind.

Die Turions sind aber heftig gefallen im Preis. Das wird dem Centrino weniger Luft geben und ein sehr gutes Konkurrenzprodukt aufstellen.

Ich hoffe nur das sich der Turion durchsetzen kann, vor allem aber der MT , der ja eine fast ebenbürtige TDP wie der Pentium-M hat.

Wobei ich mich immer frage warum fast überall die MLs verbaut sind bei 5$ Preisunterschied.

das die x2 immer noch so teuer sind.....vom mainstream sind die noch weit entfernt...schade eigentlich wollte ich meinen presskotz schon längst ausgetauscht haben,aber bei den preisen.....ich hoffe das der 3800+ bei der nächsten preisrunde deutlich richtung 200,-$ geht,wann immer das auch sein wird

Mal bei Intel anrufen ... ? Vielleicht paßt denen die 25 Watt Linie nicht ...

Allerdings hat AMD für den Turion X2 die 35 Watt schon definiert, sodaß die Hersteller hier vielleicht vielleicht lediglich Socket (S1) und Speicher (DDR-II) in 2006 austauschen wollen, den Rest aber gleich lassen wollen.

Zudem sind die Dothan 27 Watt eh eher 30-35 Watt nach AMD-Norm, sodaß es keinen großen Unterschied mehr bzgl.Stromversorgung macht.

Und warum sollen die Preise für den S939 Opteron angehoben werden?

Weiter so, bald kann ich mir den X2 4200+ leisten 8)

und "billig" AMD64 fallen ganz raus. Ist dann schon etwas happig für etwas mehr 3000 auf 3200 direkt 50 Euro zu nehmen. Es gibt auch noch welche da zählt 50 Euro noch was, wenn auch ich manchmal bei einigen nicht so den Eindruck habe...zB. so eine PC Hardware Zeitung ....

AMD hat die PR+ geändert.
Zudem hat das HP-Board einem ATI Radeon Xpress Chipsatz,
also PCIe und viel Bedarf an DRAM-Transferrate.
Mit PC3200 und HT 800 MHz ist der HT-Link praktisch ausgelastet und I/O Zugriffe bremsen ihn dann etwas aus.

Hat AMD vielleicht den HT auch beim So. 754 auf 1 GHz erhöht ?
(Beim So.939 wurde beim 3400+ einfach von 1 GHz auf 0,8 GHz gestutzt)

AMD könnte so die 1 GHz HT-Semprone einfach um 100+ aufwerten.
Also folgende Stufen bei HT 1 GHz:

3000+ / 128k / 1,8 GHz
3200+ / 256k / 1,8 GHz
3400+ / 128k / 2,0 GHz
3500+ / 256k / 2,0 GHz
(3700+ / 128k / 2,2 GHz)
(3900+ / 256k / 2,2 GHz)

Da die Semprons jetzt auch alle AMD64 beherrschen, bleibt lediglich der Cache, der ihn als "minderwertig" dastehen l&#228;sst. Also der Sempron ist schon ok, wenn man nicht die 50&#8364; mehr f&#252;r nen 3200+ hat. Aber wenn man zu den Blauen schaut, sind die Preise nicht besser. Da kostet ein P4 640 (3,2GHz) 218$. Also ist der 3200+ ne gute Wahl. Alternativ investiert man gut 120&#8364; mehr und bekommt mit dem X2 3800+ ein wirklich ausgewogenes Preis/Leistungsverh&#228;ltnis. Der Griff zum Pentium D 820 lohnt nicht.

AMD hat die Preisliste für die Athlon 64-Modelle im Laufe des Nachmittags angepasst, vulgo die Preise gesenkt. Das Einstiegsmodell Athlon 3200+ steht jetzt mit $155 statt vorher $194 in der Preisliste, das Topmodell 4000+ mit $341 statt $375.

Das sollte sich auch bald beim Handel niederschlagen, womit das aktuelle Einstiegsmodell 3200+ jetzt kaum teurer als der 3000+ im letzten Quartal mit $149 ist. Aber ich möchte mir trotzdem lieber einen X2 kaufen.

Wie so oft bei Preisrunden werden auch einzelne CPU aus der Produktion bzw. Verkauf verabschiedet. AMD führt demnach keine Prozessoren mehr, den AMD in den letzten Jahren den Erfolg maßgeblich schuldet. Gemeint sind Prozessoren für den Sockel A von AMD. Der Sockel A wird damit endgültig verabschiedet. Gleichzeitig sind die Semperons für Sockel 754 ohne die 64-Bit-Befehlssatzerweiterung AMD64 aus der Liste von AMD gestrichen worden. AMD Prozessoren heißt nun immer auch 64 Bit. Eine fällige Bereinigung des Angebotes von AMD.

Ist korrigiert, geaeusert wurde nur, dass sie geaendert werden, da aber bei den anderen Aenderungen explizit dabei stand, das sie gesenkt werden, bin ich erstmal von ner Erhöhung der Preise ausgegangen.
