ATI hat sein CATALYST Grafikkarten-Treiberpaket in der Version 7.1 zum Download freigegeben. Voraussetzung für das CATALYST Control Center (CCC*) ist ein installiertes Microsoft .NET Framework. Eine aktuelle Version des .NET Framework kann man über die Microsoft <a href="http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6"target="b">Windows Update</a> Seite beziehen. Hinweise zu den Release Notes für den Windows XP Treiber finden sich im <a href="http://www.planet3dnow.de/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=3029408#post3029408">Kommentar-Bereich</a>.

Das ist wenn ich mich nicht täusche eine der kürzesten "Known Issues" Liste die es je in den Release Notes gab - wenn auch mit ein paar merkwürdigen, schon länger bestehenden und die Grundfunktionalitäten bestreffenden Issues.

Wie auch immer, über fleissiges Bugfixing freu ich mich immer, werd ihn gleich installieren

Vermutlich sind hier schon erste, bis jetzt noch nicht veröffentlichte Teile für die neue R600 Reihe drin.
Oder man kann bei ATI nicht weiter als 12 zählen so dass man sobald man diese Versionsnummer erreicht hat, neu neue nummer vorneweg braucht

Bei der 4.xx und 5.xx (evtl auch bei der 3.xx schon) Reihe wars wenn ich mich recht entsinne jedenfalls auch so, das nach der x.12 meist eine neue Hauptversion gemacht wurde.

Findet hier auch nur irgend jemand die Release Notes für 7.1-Version für die SB600?

Die sind ja nicht mit dabei, aber angeblich sollen die auf https://support.ati.com/ zu finden sein.
Ich kann die ums verrecken nicht finden, ist aber auch nicht gerade die übersichtlichste Seite.

Hat das jemand gefunden oder einen Plan wo man das dort findet?

Selbst der Links "Release Notes" direkt beim einzel Paket zum SB600-Treiber führt nur auf die normalen Release Notes und nicht dahin wo es logisch wäre: Die Release Notes zur Version 7.1 für die Southbridge. *motz*

Sagt mal, sind die ATi CCCs immer in Englisch? Irgendwie ist das etwas nervig, man gibt 400 € für ne Grafikkarte aus, und dann bringen die es nicht auf die Reihe für vielleicht 20 € mehr einen Dolmetscher zu beauftragen, der das dann übersetzt

Ich hoffe mal, das die Treiber jetzt wenigstens das Problem mit Anno 1701 bei mir lösen...

<- Fragt wenn das mal gelöst wird.?. <- So langsam wirds peinlich, denn das steht schon seit was weis ich wie lange drin.....

Crossfire an sich ist sehr stabil, wenn man es einmal zu laufen bekommen hat... Je nach Anwendugn ein mehr oder weniger schwieriger Fall.

Unabhängig von dem ganzen hier, eine neue Version vom Omegadrives Modding Treibern wär mal wieder nicht schlecht... hoffentlich hat er die Lust nicht verloren.
Naja, schlimmstenfalls halt mal wieder die normalen Treiber mit dem Standard ATT installieren...

Warte auch schon sehnsüchtig auf neue Omega Treiber. Der aktuellste ist ja von der Version 6.9. :-/

Hände weg von ATI-Treibern... nehmt lieber Omegas oder ähnliche. Die 6.12er hat bei mir auf meinem 19" Widescreen-moni andere Auflösungen als die 1440x900 nie richtig übernohmen, sondern dann immer auf 800x600 umgeschaltet.

Gott und die Welt hab ich verflucht, verschiede Versionen aufgespielt bis dann seit langem mal wieder Omegas probiert und Wunder oh Wunder :>

Wieso wird dem Linuxtreiber auch in dieser neuen Version wieder keine Unterstützung des X1950 mitgegeben. Finde ich sehr schade, besonders da der X1650 bereits seit der 8.32 genutzt werden kann.

Endlich hab ich wieder eine deutsche Treiberoberfläche, nicht das ich die Englische nicht lesen könnte, aber mir ist Deutsch viel lieber ....

PS. Jetzt gehen auch wieder einige Spiele die vorher (mit dem 6.9er) nicht gingen. Irgendwie hab ich auch das Gefühl, seitdem AMD mitmischt ist die Qualität der Treiber um einiges besser geworden. Aber das Gefühl ist nur Subjektiv

Was ist so schlimm an den Orginalen ATi Treibern? Find die ganz ok. Und die Leistung wird mit jedem Treiber auch mehr.

"Schlimm" ist eigentlich nix an den originalen Treibern.
Allerdings sind in den Omegas oft kleine, aber feine Änderungen drin, zB diverse Bugfixes oder modifizierte AA/AF Modi, die noch stärker auf Qualität ausgelegt sind.
Ferner haben sie einen einfach zu handhabenden SoftMod für 9800 SE Karten, wie ich sie auch noch ab und zu hier im einsatz habe.

Ich hab jetzt allerdings mal den NGO Optimized Treiber auf Basis des Catalyst 6.12 installiert, gefällt mit auch sehr gut (die Macher von Omega und NGO kennen sich übrigens).

Im NGO ist das alte Controlpanel mit drin, sowie ebenfalls eine Version des ATI Tray Tools.
Desweiteren ist in den NGO (im gegensatz zu den Omegas) der WDM Treiber für die ViVo Funktionen schon integriert. Aber halt kein CCC.

Apropos CCC: das CCC vom 7.1 soll um einiges schneller geworden sein, bei Driverheaven haben einige es sogar das "fastest CCC ever" genannt!
Anscheinend tut sich doch mal was.

Erstmal Danke für die Aufklärung bzgl.des Coding der Catalysts.... is schon lustig... hab' Datum und Treiber bisher einfach nicht in Verbindung gebracht... Da fängt man an sich zu wundern!!! :-[

Naja.... weil wir gerade bei gemoddeten Treibern waren:
Was haltet ihr von den XG WARCATs?
Bin von diesen Treibern ziemlich überzeugt,
jedoch nutzte ich sie selbst nicht, da der Warcat unter Windows x64 Probleme mit der OpenGL Darstellung hat....

Ich habe da einen kleinen Bug oder auch nicht?

Alle Treiber nach dem 6.11 zeigen bei mir im His TOOL einen zu hohen Temp Wert an.
Das Tool ist ein Overklocking Tool oder einfach ein Info Tool das anzeigt wie schnell der Lüfter läuft und wo man Speed von RAM und GPU einstellen kann und auch den Speed des Lüfters. Ich habe alles auf Standard gelassen. CPU Speed ist auf ca. 389 MHz eingestellt und RAM ist auf 702 MHz eingestellt und der Lüfter läuft automatisch immer so schnell, dass die Karte immer gut gekühlt ist.

Bei Treiber Version 6.11 ist alles genau so, aber der Temp Wert ist um 10-15 Gard kleiner.
Hat da jemand eine Idee?

Die Karte ist nicht übertaktet so weit ich das überprüfen kann und ist eine PCIE X800 von HIS.
