Das verwirrt mich etwas... ist der FX-62 schneller als die FX-7x? Oder warum kostet der so viel mehr?

der FX-62 soll den schnellsten Dual-Core darstellen und die FX-7x Familie ist für AMDs 4x4 Plattform...also 2 CPUs auf einem Mainboard. Deswegen gibts die ja auch nur im Paar...

Nun ist der Sempron 3800+ (2,2 GHz/ 256k L2) um $7 teurer als der Athlon64 3800+ (Single-Core 2,4 GHz / 512k).

Scheinbar will AMD den schnellen Sempron nicht verkaufen ?


Die $10 Abstand zwischen X2 5200+ und X2 5000+ erscheinen auch lachhaft angesichts der bisherigen Verfügbarkeit der 2* 1M L2 Cores.
Dafür dann die X2 54/5600* mit fast $200 Mehrpreis und wiederum nur $20 Abstand.

Eine Logik ist in der Preisliste nicht (mehr) erkennbar, aber die letzen Listen wurde ja immer mehrfach nach Veröffentlichung durch kurzfristige Updates geändert.
Warten wir also mal eine stabile Preisliste bis heute abend oder morgen ab.

Oh man früher habe ich gewusst was welche AMD CPU konnte, heute muss man sich erst lange im Netz informieren um das zu ergründen. Ist ja nervig geworden...

Wieso sind die neuen Preise, die ja ab 22.01.2007 gelten sollen hoeher als die aktuellen Marktpreise?

Bspw. kostet ein Athlon X2 3800+ EE AM2 momentan ca 90 Euro. In der Liste steht, dass der $138 kosten soll. Umrechnung: $138 sind etwa 106€ (bei 1,30$/€). Also soll der Prozessor 16€ mehr kosten als sein Marktwert?!?

Ich haette wohl doch besser BWL studieren sollen..

Das ist Tray-Ware (also ohne Kühler), die offiziellen Preise beziehen sich aber auf die PIB-Variante.

PIB steht dabei nicht fuer Polyisobutylen, sondern für Processor In Box, in den Preislisten und umgangssprachlich als boxed bezeichnet.

Ist wohl das beste, denn vollständig kann das ja nicht sein. Auch im oberen AM2-Bereich stimmt das nicht, ich denke mal, daß 5400+ und 5600+ noch deutlich gesenkt werden, der 6000+ eingeführt wird und der FX-62 ersatzlos aufgegeben wird. Kann aber sein, daß das erst in einigen Tagen oder wenigen Wochen passiert und bis dahin offiziell erstmal so weitergermurkst wird, inoffiziell werden aber wohl sowieso immer andere Preise ausgehandelt.

Das würde ich auch mal gerne wissen, wo die 4 x 4 Plattformen hin sind. Laut damaligen Meldungen sollte es die ja schon seit Mitte Dezember geben... hoffentlich zieht sich das dann nicht so bei den Grafikkarten hin, nicht das die erst ein halbes Jahr nach dem Release zu kaufen gibt ;_;

Keine ahnung wo die hier zu haben sind/wären, in den staaten gibts die aber ab lager bei newegg als einzelne prozessoren.

ja, die 4x4 plattformen gibts seit dezember, aber meines wissens nach nur im ami-land. zu uns sollen sie angeblich bald kommen, glaube ende jänner

bei der großen menge an verschiedenen modelen "+" preiskampf ist es wohl "gleich" nicht möglich die preistrukturierung so zu gestalten wie amd es gerne heatte.

desweiteren würde ich annhemen die sempron nicht in der hohen stückzahl produziert werden wie die a64 was sie automatisch wohl auch teurer machen.

Die FX 70 / 72 / 74 sind doch auch Dual-Cores oder liege ich da falsch? Das mit der 4x4 Plattform von AMD und das die CPUs nur im Doppelpack verkauft werden ist mir klar. Wenn diese CPUs jedoch auch zwei Kerne besitzen, dann verstehe ich den Preisunterschied vom FX 62 auf den FX 70 wirklich nicht

Bei geheimen Händlern ...

AMD hat leider die (frühere) Unsitte von Intel übernommen und kündigt an, wenn nur geringe Mengen verfügbar sind.
Zudem wie seit längerem zuerst an die OEMs, die aber 'natürlich' nicht Listenpreis zahlen.

Die FX7x Versorgungssituation ist angesichst der Quartalszahlen von AMD = geringerer Durchschnittserlös nur noch als Lachnummer zu bezeichnen.
Einzige Entschuldigung ist Intel und die neue Preisfindung, die eben viel mehr Nachfrage als für die mittelfristige Produktionsplanung vorgesehen ergeben.
Aber durch die nicht vorhandene Lieferfähigkeit läßt AMD Erlöse im mehrstelligen Millionenbereich sausen ...

Du wußtest früher welchen FSB und welche Cachegröße ein Athlon XP 1700+/2500+/2600+ hatte? Gratuliere, Ich nicht. Ich musste dafür schon immer erst im Netz recherchieren. Pech für Dich wenn Du Dich daran erst jetzt gewöhnen musst.

Also zum einen möchte ich sagen, daß die Abschläge bitter nötig waren. Aber was mir immer noch aufstößt ist dass ein Sempron 3200+ genau so teuer ist wie ich damals für einen 3200+ Athlon XP ausgegeben habe (150 DM) und das ist 2 Jahre her. Zur Zeit ein Schlämmerparadies für Enthusiasten. Zu 64bit sag ich nur Pff Wenn ich ein schnelles Auto kaufe brauche ich auch eine Autobahn, oder? Diese Produkttiefe von AMD macht die Prozessoren nur unnötig teuer.
