Den Stellenwert, den das System-Informationstool <a href="http://www.planet3dnow.de/cgi-bin/newspub/viewnews.cgi?category=2&id=1199656424">CPU-Z</a> im CPU-Bereich inne hat, will das ähnlich angelegte GPU-Z von <a href="http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/" target="b">techPowerUp</a> bei Grafikkarten einnehmen. GPU-Z liefert technische Informationen zu Grafikkarten, beschränkt sich derzeit aber vor allem auf Produkte von AMD/ATI und NVIDIA und einige IGP-Chipsätze (u.a. von Intel).
