GPU-Z 0.1.6 veröffentlicht

Den Stellenwert, den das System-Informationstool <a href="http://www.planet3dnow.de/cgi-bin/newspub/viewnews.cgi?category=2&id=1199656424">CPU-Z</a> im CPU-Bereich inne hat, will das ähnlich angelegte GPU-Z von <a href="http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/" target="b">techPowerUp</a> bei Grafikkarten einnehmen. GPU-Z liefert technische Informationen zu Grafikkarten, beschränkt sich derzeit aber vor allem auf Produkte von AMD/ATI und NVIDIA und einige IGP-Chipsätze (u.a. von Intel).

leider läuft das ding noch immer nicht mit kaspersky zusammen.....

Naja, etwas "schwach" das Tool.

Nach dem Start kommt lapidar dir Meldung "Unknown achitecture" und dann stürzt das Programm ab.

Laut Info sollte das Tool aber laufen, habe in allen PCs jeweils eine nVidia GeForce 8600 GT.

Mit meiner 7900 GTO gibt es keine Probleme.

Naja, ich hätte zumindest erwartet, das eine Sinnvolle Fehlermeldung kommt, evtl mit der Möglichkeit einen Fehlerbericht, oder Hardware bericht einzuschicken, damit das Problem behoben werden kann.

Aber das die Software dann einfach nur abstürzt ist unschön.

Hmm, bei mir geht es mit der 8600GT.

Ich habe ja nicht gesagt, das es überhaupt nicht geht, sondern nur, das es mit einer nichtssagenden Fehlermeldung abstürzt.

Ich habe mal etwas "gegoogelt" und dabei feststellen müssen, das GPU-Z offensichtlich überhaupt nicht die Grafikkarte erkennt bzw. sich die Mühe macht diese zu erkennen, sondern das die schlicht eine "Datenbank" im Programm haben mit der dann die gefundenen Hardware IDs verglichen werden, und entsprechend ausgegeben werden.

Offensichtlich habe ich also schlicht eine 8600 GT, wo die Daten nicht im Programm vorhanden sind.
