EVEREST Version 4.50 veröffentlicht

Die <a href="http://www.lavalys.com" target="b">Lavalys Consulting Group</a> hat eine neue Version (4.50) des System-Informations-Tools EVEREST veröffentlicht.

EVEREST ist der inoffizielle Nachfolger des System-Informations-Tools Aida32, dessen Entwicklung im August 2004 aufgegeben wurde (<a href="http://www.planet3dnow.de/cgi-bin/newspub/viewnews.cgi?category=1&id=1080114663">wir berichteten</a>). EVEREST wird inzwischen nur noch als kommerzielle und kostenpflichtige Ultimate- oder Corporate-Edition angeboten. Die Entwicklung und den Vertrieb der kostenlosen Home-Edition hat Lavalys im Dezember 2005 eingestellt.

Bei den Downloads handelt es sich um zeitlich begrenzte und im Funktionsumfang eingeschränkte Testversionen.

Leider für mich uninteressant, da die kostenfreie Home Version nicht dabei ist, die ja immer noch in Version 2.20 dahinvegetiert.

Die Home Version wird nicht mehr weiter entwickelt Aus ihr ist die Ultimate Version hervorgegangen und diese ist kostenpflichtig, ich finde das Tool sehr hilfreich & auch der Preis ist ok.
Umgerechnet 22,56 EUR für eine Neue Lizenz & 12,85 EUR für ein Upgrade (z.B. von Version 3.x auf 4.x)

Preis ok? Ich würde niemals ca. 23€ für so ein Programm ausgeben, das Daten hergibt, die man mit anderen Mitteln oder anderer Software auch auslesen kann.

Gibt es keine Updatefunktion, wenn ja wo ist die bitte. Ich habe die Ulimate 4.20 Version sollte ja eigentlich ein Update möglich sein oder?

Wenn ich es nur Downloaden könnte.....

Ob es ne Updatefunktion gibt weis ich nich, hab sowas aber auch noch nie gesehen. Und da ich meinen Product Key iwie verschmissen hab werd ich wohl bei der 4.00 Version bleiben auch wenn die nicht alles kann.
