Fremont, CA, June 1st, 2009 - TYAN, an industry-leading server platform provider, today announced its line of 17 current platforms and 2 new products that fully support the new Six-Core AMD Opteron™ processor (codenamed: "Istanbul"). All of the 19 TYAN platforms are specially designed for offering faster computing manageability, higher performance and lower power consumption with the adoption of AMD’s latest processor technology. TYAN servers with the new Six-Core AMD Opteron processor help provide customers better overall value in the data center and meet customer's demanding needs on x86 servers/workstations.
