Download Google Chrome 3.0.193.2 Beta

Google hat die Version 3.0 des Webbrowsers Chrome als Beta freigegeben.

<strong>Some principal changes release since 2.0.172.37:</strong>

* Initial support for the video tag.

Gibts eigentlich eine Version 1.0 oder 2.0 ohne den Zusatz Beta? ^^

Es ist nicht die erste Beta-Version vom 3er. Bei ComputerBase gabe es schon einige zum Download.

Ich find die Versionierung bei denen eh mehr als komisch. In 2 Jahren haben wir dann Google Chrome 89.0.123.5 Beta.

Öhm ich mein gibts eine nicht-Betaversion (2.0 oder sowas) vom Chrome? Also eine "Fertige"?
Auf der Herunterladseite von Google gibts nur einen Online-Installer

da steht kein Beta
Das wurde glaube ich am selben Tag entfernt, wie bei vielen anderen Softwareprodukten von Google.
War das nicht der Tag an dem das OS angekündigt wurde?

naja das "beta" bei google ist eher ein running gag

Übrigens bietet SRWare.net seit dem 15.07.09 eine "Iron 3.0 Beta", basierend auf dem "Chromium 3.0" Sourcecode.

Iron basiert wie bereits erwähnt auf dem als Open Source verfügbaren Chromium Quellcode. Die bei Googles Chrome umstrittenen "Features" sind dabei nicht nur deaktiviert, sondern direkt aus dem Quellcode entfernt worden.
Ich persönlich nutze "Iron" sehr gern als Portable-Browser, vom Stick läuft er wesentlich flüssiger als Opera oder Firefox.
