1. Use
OCZ Toolbox v2.37 to determine the version of firmware currently installed on your SSD.
2. If the SSD contains firmware version 2.06 or higher (v2.06, v2.08, v2.08), simply upgrade the firmware version to 2.09 using
OCZ Toolbox v2.37.
3. The Linux version of the firmware updater, fwupd, can also be used if the SSD contains firmware version 2.06 or higher.
4. DO NOT use fwupd if the SSD contains firmware version lower than 2.06.
5. If the SSD contains firmware version lower than 2.06, it MUST first be upgraded to v2.06 BEFORE upgrading to v2.09.
6. You MUST use the special
OCZ Toolbox v2.37-206 to first upgrade the firmware in your SSD to v2.06.
7. After your SSD has been upgraded to firmware version 2.06, use the standard
OCZ Toolbox v2.37 to upgrade the firmware to v2.09.
