Zur Weihnachtszeit bietet EVGA allen Kunden an ihre Hardware nachträglich zu registrieren. Man richtet sich damit an jene, die im Jahr 2009 oder 2010 ein EVGA-Produkt erworben haben und es nicht in der gesetzten Frist von 30 Tagen registriert haben. Damit bietet man eine Chance die Garantie abseits der gesetzlichen Garantie auf 3 bis 10 Jahre Herstellergarantie zu erweitern. Dazu muss man allerdings der Erstbesitzer sein und bis zum 31. Dezember eine Rechnung nachweisen.

Program 1 – 30 Day Registration Recovery

Did you forget to register your product within 30 days of the purchase date? EVGA Europe gives you the chance to recover the extended warranty for a limited time!

• The product must be a 3 year or 10 year extended warranty product (ER/E1/AR/A1/KR/EK)*
• All products purchased in 2009 or 2010 qualify
• You must be the original owner, the product must be registered, and a copy of the purchase invoice is required. If your product is not registered, you can register now and upload a copy of your invoice.
• Make a post on the EVGA forum, or any forum if you prefer, to help us spread the news so more people can benefit from this special program. Include the link with your request in the support ticket.
• Your registration date will then be adjusted to qualify for the extended warranty
• This program is only valid for requests submitted within the month of December 2010

Darüber hinaus bietet der Hersteller auch für Produkte mit bereits abgelaufener Garantie ein Programm um noch RMA-Würdigkeit zu erlangen. Die Voraussetzungen sind dabei identisch, allerdings wird auch Hardware aus dem Jahr 2008 akzeptiert, sofern sie damit auf eine zehnjährige Garantie aufgestockt werden kann. Im Falle einer Reklamation soll der Ersatz sogar leistungsfähiger ausfallen.

Program 2 – Donation Replacement Program

Do you have a product which is now out of warranty because you did not qualify for the extended warranty? EVGA gives you the chance to obtain a replacement for a limited time!

• The product must be a 10 year extended warranty product (ER/E1/AR/A1)*
• The product must have been purchased in 2008
• You must be the original owner, the product must be registered, and a copy of the purchase invoice is required. If your product is not registered, you can register now and upload a copy of your invoice.
• Make a post on the EVGA forum, or any forum if you prefer, to help us spread the news so more people can benefit from this special program. Include the link with your request in the support ticket.
• An RMA will be approved and you will be emailed instructions to send us the product. Physically damaged product will not be accepted or repaired.
• Shipping to EVGA is paid by you and EVGA will pay for the return shipping.
• As a donation, the replacement product will not carry any further warranty and will be of comparable or better performance per normal RMA policy.
• This program is only valid for requests submitted within the month of December 2010

Ja, ganz recht, wenn du dir zum Beispiel diese Grafikkarte anguckst, so kann man die Garantie mittels Registrierung auf 10 Jahre aufstocken. wichtig ist hierbei die Endung der Hersteller-Produktnummer. Bei EK bekommst du bei einer registrierung 3 Jahre und bei ER und AR die erwähnten 10 Jahre
