GROUND-BREAKING AMD RDNA™ 2 GAMING ARCHITECTURE

AMD RDNA™ 2 gam­ing archi­tec­tu­re at the core of the MSI Rade­on RX 6700 XT Series is desi­gned to deli­ver the opti­mal com­bi­na­ti­on of per­for­mance and effi­ci­en­cy. It fea­tures a breakth­rough high-speed design and enhan­ced power effi­ci­en­cy, desi­gned to deli­ver hig­her per­for­mance with lower power con­sump­ti­on, and a new cache hier­ar­chy desi­gned to mini­mi­ze data move­ment, laten­cy and power usage.
 
 
• AMD Infi­ni­ty Cache – A high-per­for­mance, last-level data cache sui­ta­ble for 4K and 1440p gam­ing with the hig­hest level of detail enab­led. 96MB of cache on the GPU die deli­vers up to 2.5X hig­her band­width at the same power level as tra­di­tio­nal archi­tec­tures to pro­vi­de hig­her gam­ing performance.

• AMD Smart Access Memo­ry – Unlocks hig­her per­for­mance when pai­ring AMD Rade­on™ RX 6000 Series gra­phics cards with AMD Ryzen™ 5000 or sel­ect Ryzen 3000 Series Desk­top Pro­ces­sors and AMD 500-series mother­boards. Pro­vi­ding AMD Ryzen pro­ces­sors with access to high-speed GDDR6 gra­phics memo­ry can deli­ver a signi­fi­cant per­for­mance uplift.

• DirectX® Ray­tra­cing (DXR) – Adding a high per­for­mance, fixed-func­tion Ray Acce­le­ra­tor engi­ne to each com­pu­te unit, AMD RDNA 2‑based gra­phics cards are opti­mi­zed to deli­ver real-time light­ing, shadow and reflec­tion rea­lism with DXR. GAMING series

MSI brings the GAMING series with the ico­nic TWIN FROZR 8 ther­mal design to the MSI Rade­on RX 6700 XT gra­phics card. Com­pared to the pre­vious gene­ra­ti­on, the dual fan design has been impro­ved with TORX FAN 4.0, bin­ding fan bla­de pairs tog­e­ther with an outer link to focus air­flow into the TWIN FROZR 8 coo­ling sys­tem. The heats­ink fea­tures advan­ced aero­dy­na­mic and ther­mo­dy­na­mic tech­no­lo­gies for effi­ci­ent heat dis­si­pa­ti­on, redu­cing tem­pe­ra­tures while main­tai­ning high per­for­mance. A new design empha­si­zes the dazz­ling Mys­tic Light RGB infu­sed into the card. Gamers can easi­ly con­trol and syn­chro­ni­ze LED-lit com­pon­ents with the upgraded MSI Dra­gon Cen­ter software.

The MECH series makes its return with the MSI Rade­on RX 6700 XT gra­phics card, now enhan­ced with MSI’s acclai­med TORX FAN 3.0.
