Dataram Unveils Radeon R9 2400 Gamer Series Memory, Joining AMD in Revolutionizing Computing and UltraHD Entertainment

PRINCETON, N.J. — Dataram Corporation [NASDAQ: DRAM], today launched its AMD Radeon™ R9 2400 Gamer Series Memory which was designed to provide seamless integration and enhanced performance when used in conjunction with AMD’s newly released A‑Series Accelerated Processing Units (APUs).

The A‑Series represents AMD’s most advanced APUs and includes new, industry-changing features to deliver superior computing and outstanding gaming performance. The AMD Radeon™ R9 2400 Gamer Series product is exclusively designed and engineered with AMD Memory Profile Technology (AMP) ‚31 which unleashes the full potential of the A‑Series APUs.

In addition to being compatible with Intel platforms, the Radeon™ R9 2400 Gamer Series has been tested and certified by AMD to operate with AMD A10-7850K and AMD A10-7700K up to 2400MHz. The product design includes a glow green UV-activated gamer heat shield and a 6GB license to AMD’s popular gaming optimization software, AMD Radeon™ RAMDisk2.

The information provided in this press release may include forward-looking statements relating to future events, such as the development of new products, pricing and availability of raw materials or the future financial performance of the Company. Actual results may differ from such projections and are subject to certain risks including, without limitation, risks arising from: changes in the price of memory chips, changes in the demand for memory systems, increased competition in the memory systems industry, order cancellations, delays in developing and commercializing new products and other factors described in the Company’s most recent Annual Report on Form 10‑K, filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, which can be reviewed at http://www.sec.gov.

1Memory profiles are designed to boost system performance with pre-set memory profiles. AMP profiles are only available on supported AMD platforms and XMP profiles are only available on supported Intel platforms. The motherboard and the DDR3 memory module must be AMP or XMP-enabled in order to download preset profiles. Check with motherboard manufacturer and system memory manufacturer to see if AMP or XMP are enabled.

2AMD Radeon™ RAMDisk is designed to work with any AMD- or Intel-based platform with at least 512MB RAM and can be created using system RAM not already assigned to the O/S. Although RAMDisk is software, Windows Management treats it as a Hard Disk Drive. There is a chance that the disk may become fragmented much like a hard disk however the performance issues are less than if the physical hard disk were to become fragmented. AMD plans to provide AMD Radeon™ RAMDisk support to future generation system memory specifications. AMD Radeon™ RAMDisk requires a minimum of 1GB of system memory for installation (Minimum 4GB of RAM recommended for RAMDisk creation.) AMD and Radeon are trademarks of Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. used by Dataram Corporation under license. RAMDisk™ is a trademark of Dataram Corporation.
