The AMD EPYC™ 7003 Series processors is the x86-architecture server processor based on the “Zen 3” core architecture and 7nm technology, bringing breakthrough performance and a new level of performance.
The ASRock Rack has a superior portfolio of systems, offers high-density 2U and 4U servers solutions, 2U4N-F-ROME-M3, delivers high performance and efficiency for today’s high density compute datacenter, colocation, and web hosting applications. Each node features up to four hot-swappable 2.5″ SATA SSD drive bays for exceptional storage capacity, up to 6 standard PCIe® Gen4 slots with the additional OCP mezzanine 3.0 cards.
Moreover, the 4U8G-ROME2/2T and 4U10G-ROME2/2T are interconnected 4‑GPU and 8‑GPU boards as well as 8 PCI‑E based on the four- and eight-way boards. The memory-optimized configuration supports for up to 16+16 DIMM slots and up to 10 dual-slot width PCIe® Gen4 slots in a high-density form factor. Supporting the hot-swap NVMe, and redundant AC/DC power supplies, these features make them ideal for enterprise, cloud, virtualization, and HPC applications. ROMED6U-2L2T Micro-ATX Server Motherboard
ASRock Rack also releases the AMD EPYC™ 7003 Series processors-based Micro-ATX server motherboard: ROMED6U-2L2T, featuring up to 4x PCIe® 4.0 x16, and the board has support for 14 SATA ports (12 via mini-SAS), three U.2 ports apparently capable of PCIe® 4.0 x8 support, dual 10GbE Base‑T LAN ports, and dual 1GbE Base‑T LAN ports. Onboard BMC is provided by an ASPEED AST2500, which also has a D‑sub 2D video output and a dedicated network interface and six four-pin fan headers. For other high performance cards, that targeted at high-speed cache server, hot data and rendering cache applications.
ROMED4ID-2T Mini-ITX Server Motherboard
The ASRock Rack ROMED4ID-2T, For storage devices, featuring the 4x DIMM slots and single M.2 2280 PCIe® 4.0 x4 slot; there are plenty to accommodate multiple drives, despite the size limitations, with up to sixteen SATA ports support from two of the Slimline ports; states can be configured within the BIOS. This also supports for bulk U.2 storage, with two Slimline ports operating at PCIe® 4.0 x8 or eight SATA ports, and the other four Slimline simply listed as being PCIe®4.0 x8 .
ROME2D16HM3 Half-width Motherboard
The ASRock Rack ROME2D16HM3 is high-density server motherboard that features performance design for multi-node compute server and proprietary form factor appliance usage. With two PCIe® 4.0 x24 slots in half-width form factor, and one OCP Mezzanine 3.0 for high-speed OCP LAN card that supports one low-profile PCIe® 4.0 x16 and, the ROME2D16HM3 supports flexible expansion capability of diverse storage and networking applications. Two M.2 ports accommodate SSDs with support for scalable storage options and PCIe® 4.0 bandwidth for faster boot speeds.
