HP mit Ryzen 3000 in Pavilion-PCs und Gaming-Notebooks

In einer Pres­se­mit­tei­lung hat HP sowohl neue Desk­top-PCs mit der Opti­on von Pro­zes­so­ren der drit­ten Gene­ra­ti­on AMD Ryzen, als auch das das Pavi­li­on Gam­ing 15 als ers­tes Gam­ing-Lap­top von HP mit AMD-Pro­zes­so­ren angekündigt.

Der Pavi­li­on Gam­ing Desk­top wird sowohl mit CPUs von Intel, als auch AMD ange­bo­ten, wobei die maxi­ma­le Aus­stat­tung bei Pro­zes­so­ren mit 8 Ker­nen endet. Bei AMD wäre dies dann der AMD Ryzen 7 3800X. Der Kom­plett-PC soll ab Ende August zu Prei­sen ab 699 US-Dol­lar erhält­lich sein.

The Pavi­li­on Gam­ing Desk­top makes expan­da­bili­ty a clear empha­sis within a new space-saving 15L design. This design includes expan­si­on slots for up to three sto­rage dri­ves¹¹ and DIY upgrada­bili­ty for memo­ry, gra­phics cards, net­works cards and Wi-Fi cards. CPU opti­ons of up to 9^th Gen Intel i7 8‑core¹² or 3^rd Gen, AMD Ryzen™ 7 8‑core¹² pro­ces­sors, gra­phics of up to NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 2070 and latest RTX 2060 SUPER™, and up to 32GB DDR4 memo­ry yield the power nee­ded for the latest games or crea­ti­ve projects.

Das Pavi­li­on Gam­ing 15 ist laut HP das ers­te Gam­ing Lap­top von HP mit einer CPU von AMD. Hier sol­len Ryzen 7 Pro­zes­so­ren zum Ein­satz kom­men — gemeint ist wohl die Ryzen 3000 H‑Serie (“Picas­so”) in Gestalt des Ryzen 7 3750H mit 2,3 GHz Basistakt und 4,0 GHz Tur­bo­takt, sowie 10 Vega-Gra­fik­ker­nen, die mit 1,4 GHz takten.

Der Ryzen 7 3750H basiert dabei — auch wenn die Modell­num­mer etwas ande­res ver­mu­ten las­sen könn­te — nicht auf Zen 2, son­dern auf Zen+ und wur­de im Janu­ar 2019 offi­zi­ell vor­ge­stellt.
