Exascale Day — Webcast von Cray
Am gestrigen 18.10. hatte Supercomputerbauer Cray zum Exascale Day geladen (Exa = 1018) und dazu einen Webcast veranstaltet. Cray wird zwischen 2021 und 2022 mit Aurora, Frontier und El Capitan drei Supercomputer mit einer Leistung von jeweils mehr als 1 Exaflops bauen. Der nächste Supercomputer von Cray und auch AMD wird in Großbritannien an der Universität von Edinburgh zum Einsatz kommen.
