Mercury Research: AMD erneut mit Rekordmarktanteil bei x86-Prozessoren
Laut neuesten Zahlen von Mercury Research für das erste Quartal 2022 hat AMD beim Gesamtmarktanteil der x86-Prozessoren wie bereits im letzten Quartal mit 27,7 Prozent einen weiteren Rekord erzielt. Zugewinne beim Marktanteil gab es in allen Bereichen, allerdings soll sowohl der Desktop‑, als auch der Notebookbereich bei den Gesamtstückzahlen geschrumpft sein . AMD Quartalszahlen Q1/2022: Fast 6 Milliarden Umsatz
Bereits am Dienstag nach Börsenschluss hat AMD die Zahlen des ersten Quartals 2022 verkündet. Es wurde ein Rekordumsatz von 5,887 Milliarden US-Dollar erzielt und dabei einen Nettogewinn von 786 Millionen US-Dollar erwirtschaftet. Der Gewinn pro Aktie lag bei 0,56 US-Dollar (Alle Zahlen nach GAAP).
Erwartet hatte AMD einen Umsatz von 5,0 Milliarden US-Dollar (+/- 100 Millionen). Allerdings kamen im ersten Quartal 559 Millionen US-Dollar Umsatz von Xilinx hinzu. Nichtsdestotrotz hat man nach dessen Abzug die vorherige Umsatzerwartung um mehr als 200 Millionen US-Dollar übertroffen. Mit erwarteten 6,5 Milliarden US-Dollar Umsatz für das zweite Quartal nähert sich AMD nun auch einer Marke an, die man bis vor 3 Jahren lediglich für das gesamte Jahr (6,73 Milliarden US-Dollar in 2019) ausweisen konnte. AMD Reports First Quarter 2022 Financial Results
― Record quarterly revenue of $5.9 billion grew 71% year-over-year; Gross margin grew 2 percentage points and non-GAAP gross margin grew 7 percentage points year-over-year ―
SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 03, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — AMD (NASDAQ:AMD) today announced revenue for the first quarter of 2022 of $5.9 billion, gross margin of 48%, operating income of $951 million, operating margin of 16%, net income of $786 million and diluted earnings per share of $0.56. On a non-GAAP(*) basis, gross margin was 53%, operating income was $1.8 billion, net income was $1.6 billion and diluted earnings per share was $1.13. First quarter 2022 results include partial quarter financial results from the recently completed acquisition of Xilinx which closed February 14, 2022.
Excluding Xilinx, AMD had record quarterly revenue of $5.3 billion, non-GAAP gross margin of 51% and non-GAAP operating margin of 30%.

Bereits zur CES im Januar hatte AMD die Ryzen 6000 Mobile Prozessoren (“Rembrandt”) vorgestellt und heute folgen 8 Modelle der PRO-Variante für Businesskunden. Diese teilen sich auf in drei Modelle der H‑Serie mit einer TDP von 45 Watt, drei der HS-Serie mit 35 Watt und zwei der U‑Serie mit einer TDP von 28 Watt (konfigurierbar mit 15 bis 30 Watt).
