Mercury Research: AMD erneut mit Rekordmarktanteil bei x86-Prozessoren

Laut neu­es­ten Zah­len von Mer­cu­ry Rese­arch für das ers­te Quar­tal 2022 hat AMD beim Gesamt­markt­an­teil der x86-Pro­zes­so­ren wie bereits im letz­ten Quar­tal mit 27,7 Pro­zent einen wei­te­ren Rekord erzielt. AMD Quartalszahlen Q1/2022: Fast 6 Milliarden Umsatz

Bereits am Diens­tag nach Bör­sen­schluss hat AMD die Zah­len des ers­ten Quar­tals 2022 ver­kün­det. Es wur­de ein Rekord­um­satz von 5,887 Mil­li­ar­den US-Dol­lar erzielt und dabei einen Net­to­ge­winn von 786 Mil­lio­nen US-Dol­lar erwirt­schaf­tet. Der Gewinn pro Aktie lag bei 0,56 US-Dol­lar (Alle Zah­len nach GAAP).

Erwar­tet hat­te AMD einen Umsatz von 5,0 Mil­li­ar­den US-Dol­lar (+/-  100 Mil­lio­nen). Aller­dings kamen im ers­ten Quar­tal 559 Mil­lio­nen US-Dol­lar Umsatz von Xilinx hin­zu. Nichts­des­to­trotz hat man nach des­sen Abzug die vor­he­ri­ge Umsatz­er­war­tung um mehr als 200 Mil­lio­nen US-Dol­lar über­trof­fen. Mit erwar­te­ten 6,5 Mil­li­ar­den US-Dol­lar Umsatz für das zwei­te Quar­tal nähert sich AMD nun auch einer Mar­ke an, die man bis vor 3 Jah­ren ledig­lich für das gesam­te Jahr (6,73 Mil­li­ar­den US-Dol­lar in 2019) aus­wei­sen konn­te. AMD Reports First Quarter 2022 Financial Results

― Record quar­ter­ly reve­nue of $5.9 bil­li­on grew 71% year-over-year; Gross mar­gin grew 2 per­cen­ta­ge points and non-GAAP gross mar­gin grew 7 per­cen­ta­ge points year-over-year 

SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 03, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — AMD (NASDAQ:AMD) today announ­ced reve­nue for the first quar­ter of 2022 of $5.9 bil­li­on, gross mar­gin of 48%, ope­ra­ting inco­me of $951 mil­li­on, ope­ra­ting mar­gin of 16%, net inco­me of $786 mil­li­on and diluted ear­nings per share of $0.56. On a non-GAAP(*) basis, gross mar­gin was 53%, ope­ra­ting inco­me was $1.8 bil­li­on, net inco­me was $1.6 bil­li­on and diluted ear­nings per share was $1.13. First quar­ter 2022 results include par­ti­al quar­ter finan­cial results from the recent­ly com­ple­ted acqui­si­ti­on of Xilinx which clo­sed Febru­ary 14, 2022.

Exclu­ding Xilinx, AMD had record quar­ter­ly reve­nue of $5.3 bil­li­on, non-GAAP gross mar­gin of 51% and non-GAAP ope­ra­ting mar­gin of 30%.

Bereits zur CES im Janu­ar hat­te AMD die Ryzen 6000 Mobi­le Pro­zes­so­ren (“Rem­brandt”) vor­ge­stellt und heu­te fol­gen 8 Model­le der PRO-Vari­an­te für Busi­ness­kun­den. Die­se tei­len sich auf in drei Model­le der H‑Serie mit einer TDP von 45 Watt, drei der HS-Serie mit 35 Watt und zwei der U‑Serie mit einer TDP von 28 Watt (kon­fi­gu­rier­bar mit 15 bis 30 Watt).
