Die aktu­el­le Ver­si­on des AMD Chip­satz-Trei­bers für Win­dows 10 und 11 unter­stützt nun Win­dows 11 22H2 und beinhal­tet eini­ge Bug-Fixes, die aller­dings in den Release Notes nur bei den Ver­sio­nen der im Paket ent­hal­te­nen Trei­ber auf­ge­lis­tet wer­den. So wur­de zum Bei­spiel auch ein neu­er AMD Ryzen Power Plan in der Ver­si­on 8.0.0.13 hin­zu­ge­fügt, dem ein neu­es unter­stütz­tes Pro­gramm hin­zu­ge­fügt wur­de. Bereits am Anfang der Woche ist die neu­es­te Ver­si­on der Rade­on Soft­ware Adre­na­lin — also des Trei­bers für AMD-Gra­fik­kar­ten — ist für Win­dows 10 und Win­dows 11 erschie­nen. Die Ver­si­on 22.8.2 unter­stützt die Spie­le “Saints Row™ with DirectX® 12” und “The Bridge Cur­se Road to Sal­va­ti­on™” und bie­tet neben eini­gen Feh­ler­kor­rek­tu­ren bei ande­ren Spie­len auch zwei Kor­rek­tu­ren für die Video­pro­gram­me “VEGAS PRO” und “DaVin­ci Resol­ve Stu­dio 17”.

Intel Orders Delayed, TSMC Slows Three-Nanometer Expansion, Says TrendForce

4 August 2022 — Accor­ding to Trend­Force rese­arch, Intel plans to out­sour­ce the tGPU chip­set in Mete­or Lake to TSMC for manu­fac­tu­re. Mass pro­duc­tion of this pro­duct was initi­al­ly plan­ned for 2H22 but was later post­po­ned to 1H23 due to pro­duct design and pro­cess veri­fi­ca­ti­on issues. Recent­ly, the product’s mass pro­duc­tion sche­du­le has been post­po­ned again to the end of 2023 for some reason, nigh com­ple­te­ly can­cel­ling 3nm pro­duc­tion capa­ci­ty ori­gi­nal­ly boo­ked in 2023 with only a mar­gi­nal amount of wafer input remai­ning for engi­nee­ring veri­fi­ca­ti­on.
