Computex 2022: AMD-Keynote morgen früh um 8:00 Uhr

Mor­gen früh um 8:00 Uhr wird AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Su eine Key­note im Rah­men der vom 24. bis zum 27. Mai statt­fin­den­den Com­putex 2022 abhal­ten. Bei den Inhal­ten soll­te Zen 4 domi­nie­ren und ers­te offi­zi­el­le Infor­ma­ti­on zu den Ryzen 7000 (“Rapha­el”) und der neu­en AM5-Platt­form bereit­hal­ten. In der Key­note — die angeb­lich nur knapp über eine hal­be Stun­de dau­ern soll — will AMD aber auch über die kom­men­den Mobi­le-Lösun­gen der nächs­ten Gene­ra­ti­on und Gra­fik­chips auf Basis von RDNA 3 reden. MIT to name Building 12, home of MIT.nano, in honor of Lisa Su

Su is the first MIT alum­na to make a gift for a buil­ding that will bear her own name.

Buil­ding 12, the home of MIT.nano, will soon be named in honor of Lisa T. Su ’90, SM ’91, PhD ’94, chief exe­cu­ti­ve offi­cer and chair of the Board of Direc­tors of AMD. Su is the first MIT alum­na to make a gift for a buil­ding that will bear her own name. 

Lisa Su led AMD to its stron­gest per­for­mance in the company’s more than 50-year histo­ry in 2021, brin­ging to mar­ket seve­ral lea­ding-edge tech­no­lo­gies. She pre­vious­ly ser­ved in mul­ti­ple roles at Frees­ca­le Semi­con­duc­tor Inc., IBM, and Texas Instruments.

Su ear­ned bachelor’s, master’s, and doc­to­ral degrees from MIT in elec­tri­cal engi­nee­ring. She has recei­ved many honors inclu­ding two named for MIT alum­ni who were pio­neers in her indus­try: the Glo­bal Semi­con­duc­tor Association’s Dr. Mor­ris Chang Exem­pla­ry Lea­der­ship Award and the Robert N. TAITRA (Tai­wan Exter­nal Trade and Deve­lo­p­ment Coun­cil) announ­ced today that Dr. Lisa Su, Pre­si­dent and CEO of AMD, is invi­ted back to deli­ver a key­note address at COMPUTEX 2021. This digi­tal key­note will be on Tues­day, June 1, at 10:00 AM Tai­pei time, with the key­note the­me “AMD Acce­le­ra­ting – The High-Per­for­mance Com­pu­ting Eco­sys­tem”.

COMPUTEX dis­plays will be digi­tal this year, with key­notes and forums run­ning on hybrid. “It has been a year unli­ke others. Tech­no­lo­gy has got­ten us through some of the most chal­len­ging times,” said James Huang, TAITRA Chair­man. “We will con­ti­nue to trans­form our exhi­bi­ti­on models and prac­ti­ces to meet the evol­ving needs of our exhi­bi­tors, visi­tors, and media, wit­hout losing the most essen­ti­al ele­ment of a trade show – connection.”
