NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) today announced selected preliminary financial results for the second quarter ended July 31, 2022.
Second quarter revenue is expected to be approximately $6.70 billion, down 19% sequentially and up 3% from the prior year, primarily reflecting weaker than forecasted Gaming revenue. Intel Orders Delayed, TSMC Slows Three-Nanometer Expansion, Says TrendForce
4 August 2022 — According to TrendForce research, Intel plans to outsource the tGPU chipset in Meteor Lake to TSMC for manufacture. Mass production of this product was initially planned for 2H22 but was later postponed to 1H23 due to product design and process verification issues. Recently, the product’s mass production schedule has been postponed again to the end of 2023 for some reason, nigh completely cancelling 3nm production capacity originally booked in 2023 with only a marginal amount of wafer input remaining for engineering verification. AMD and ECARX to Collaborate on Immersive Digital Cockpit In-Vehicle Computing Platform for Next-Generation Electric Vehicles

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Aug. 04, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) today announced a strategic collaboration with ECARX, a global mobility tech company. The companies will work together on an in-vehicle computing platform for next-generation electric vehicles (EVs), expected to be in mass production for global rollout in late 2023. AMD bestätigt — Ryzen 7000 startet spätestens im September
Gerüchte um den 15. September als möglichen Starttermin der kommenden Ryzen 7000 Desktopprozessoren (Raphael) machen seit einiger Zeit die Runde. Die offizielle Sprachregelung von AMD war bislang, dass die neuen Prozessoren für die Plattform AM5 im Herbst starten werden. AMD Quartalszahlen Q2/2022 mit 6,55 Milliarden Umsatz
Heute nach Börsenschluss hat AMD die Zahlen des zweiten Quartals 2022 verkündet. Es wurde ein Rekordumsatz von 6,55 Milliarden US-Dollar erzielt und dabei einen Nettogewinn von 447 Millionen US-Dollar erwirtschaftet. Der Gewinn pro Aktie lag bei 0,27 US-Dollar (Alle Zahlen nach GAAP).
Erwartet hatte AMD einen Umsatz von 6,5 Milliarden US-Dollar (+/- 200 Millionen). Mit erwarteten 6,7 Milliarden US-Dollar Umsatz für das aktuelle dritte Quartal nähert sich AMD nun auch einer Marke an, die man bis vor 3 Jahren lediglich für das gesamte Jahr (6,73 Milliarden US-Dollar Jahresumsatz in 2019) ausweisen konnte. SANTA CLARA, Calif., Aug. 02, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — AMD (NASDAQ:AMD) today announced revenue for the second quarter of 2022 of $6.6 billion, gross margin of 46%, operating income of $526 million, operating margin of 8%, net income of $447 million and diluted earnings per share of $0.27. On a non-GAAP(*) basis, gross margin was 54%, operating income was $2.0 billion, operating margin was 30%, net income was $1.7 billion and diluted earnings per share was $1.05.

Intel vermeldet überraschend einen Verlust
Ohne vorhergehende Gewinnwarnung hat Intel überraschend im Rahmen der Zahlen zum zweiten Quartal 2022 einen Nettoverlust in Höhe von 500 Millionen US-Dollar vermelden müssen. Der Umsatz sank im Vergleich zum Vorjahresquartal um 22 Prozent auf 15,3 Milliarden US-Dollar. In den Zahlen ist auch eine Abschreibung in Höhe von 559 Millionen US-Dollar auf das Optane-Geschäft enthalten.
