Second quar­ter reve­nue is expec­ted to be appro­xi­m­ate­ly $6.70 bil­li­on, down 19% sequen­ti­al­ly and up 3% from the pri­or year, pri­ma­ri­ly reflec­ting wea­k­er than fore­cas­ted Gam­ing reve­nue. Intel Orders Delayed, TSMC Slows Three-Nanometer Expansion, Says TrendForce

4 August 2022 — Accor­ding to Trend­Force rese­arch, Intel plans to out­sour­ce the tGPU chip­set in Mete­or Lake to TSMC for manu­fac­tu­re. Mass pro­duc­tion of this pro­duct was initi­al­ly plan­ned for 2H22 but was later post­po­ned to 1H23 due to pro­duct design and pro­cess veri­fi­ca­ti­on issues. Recent­ly, the product’s mass pro­duc­tion sche­du­le has been post­po­ned again to the end of 2023 for some reason, nigh com­ple­te­ly can­cel­ling 3nm pro­duc­tion capa­ci­ty ori­gi­nal­ly boo­ked in 2023 with only a mar­gi­nal amount of wafer input remai­ning for engi­nee­ring veri­fi­ca­ti­on. SANTA CLARA, Calif., Aug. 04, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) today announ­ced a stra­te­gic col­la­bo­ra­ti­on with ECARX, a glo­bal mobi­li­ty tech com­pa­ny. The com­pa­nies will work tog­e­ther on an in-vehic­le com­pu­ting plat­form for next-gene­ra­ti­on elec­tric vehic­les (EVs), expec­ted to be in mass pro­duc­tion for glo­bal roll­out in late 2023. The ECARX digi­tal cock­pit will be the first in-vehic­le plat­form to be offe­red with AMD Ryzen Embedded V2000 pro­ces­sors and AMD Rade­on RX 6000 Series GPUs along with ECARX hard­ware and software.

AMD bestätigt — Ryzen 7000 startet spätestens im September

AMD Quartalszahlen Q2/2022 mit 6,55 Milliarden Umsatz

Heu­te nach Bör­sen­schluss hat AMD die Zah­len des zwei­ten Quar­tals 2022 ver­kün­det. Es wur­de ein Rekord­um­satz von 6,55 Mil­li­ar­den US-Dol­lar erzielt und dabei einen Net­to­ge­winn von 447 Mil­lio­nen US-Dol­lar erwirt­schaf­tet. Der Gewinn pro Aktie lag bei 0,27 US-Dol­lar (Alle Zah­len nach GAAP).

Erwar­tet hat­te AMD einen Umsatz von 6,5 Mil­li­ar­den US-Dol­lar (+/-  200 Mil­lio­nen). Mit erwar­te­ten 6,7 Mil­li­ar­den US-Dol­lar Umsatz für das aktu­el­le drit­te Quar­tal nähert sich AMD nun auch einer Mar­ke an, die man bis vor 3 Jah­ren ledig­lich für das gesam­te Jahr (6,73 Mil­li­ar­den US-Dol­lar Jah­res­um­satz in 2019) aus­wei­sen konn­te. Intel vermeldet überraschend einen Verlust

Ohne vor­her­ge­hen­de Gewinn­war­nung hat Intel über­ra­schend im Rah­men der Zah­len zum zwei­ten Quar­tal 2022 einen Net­to­ver­lust in Höhe von 500 Mil­lio­nen US-Dol­lar ver­mel­den müs­sen. Der Umsatz sank im Ver­gleich zum Vor­jah­res­quar­tal um 22 Pro­zent auf 15,3 Mil­li­ar­den US-Dol­lar. In den Zah­len ist auch eine Abschrei­bung in Höhe von 559 Mil­lio­nen US-Dol­lar auf das Opta­ne-Geschäft enthalten.
